Trip Type: Romance Review 2 of 14Can't beat the spot!
My wife and I just stayed there for three nights over the labor day weekend and were very happy with the accommodations. We decided last minute to head to the Outer Banks so many of the prices at other hotels were out of our range. This hotel though was extremely reasonably priced, particularly considering the holiday weekend, and we were not sure quite what to expect. Needless to say we were quite surprised and in no way disappointed with our decision to stay there. It is literally on the beach - I think our room was about 20 yrds from the actual beach. The room was great - didn't know that it was going to be a sort of mini suite with couch and table and fridge and microwave, etc in the front and the room in the back - very comfortable. If you love the beach and all you want is to spend the day in the water and on the sand there is no need to spend high dollars somewhere else, this place will do the trick. Obviously it is not a 5 star joint, but nevertheless we were very happy with our stay. Staff was also extremely friendly (and we were there three days). Great joint to eat at next door btw - right on the beach.

Trip Type: Romance Review 3 of 14Perfect Location
This hotel's location was perfect. It has great beach access and is conviently located by plenty of restaurants and shopping. We have stayed in this hotel before, this time our room had 2 double beds. We weren't in the main building but in the building across the street, so we had to cross the street to get to the beach, but other than that it was great.

Trip Type: Romance Review 4 of 14The ocean side view we paid extra to have-
Oceanside view should NOT mean when you stand at your window to look OVER the walk way and the waist high railing. We paid for what we thought was be to a view we could sit and look out to see from inside the room.

Trip Type: Romance Review 6 of 14Great Location
Wonderful location in Nags Head. Double non-smoking rooms are small and I wouldn't want to stay for a week in the tight quarters. Great for a weekend. Breakfast was available each morning and was a nice spread. A little pricey overall for what you get. I have stayed here several times and would go back.

Trip Type: Romance Review 9 of 14great room for the money
Its an older hotel. However the beach access is great and its not far from some good restaraunts. If you want a beachside room they are a bit larger than the streetside however the oceanfront will not be your view. There is only one suite on the property that gives you a full ocean view. So saving money is choosing streetside.

Our room was a queen size bed with a suite. The beach is 100 ft. away from our room. There were no oceanfront rooms but the price of the room makes up for it. The deck going down to the beach has benches to enjoy the beach. Their complimentary breakfast was phoenomenal. Cereal, bagels, waffles (you make your own), toast, apples, oranges, lots of juices, and coffee. I would suggest to the hotel to spruce up your entry door into the hotel.

Trip Type: Romance Review 12 of 14good hotel for price
It was a decent hotel. Not fancy but price was one of cheapest on beach. It serves the purpose for visiting the beach. Don't know if I'd want to stay for more than two or three days. Great foe a couple of nights,
