Great Room for the cost

The staff did everything they could to make our stay all we needed. Lots of extras for the cost. I'd stay here again. (And if the windows had opened when we were there, we would have blown away!!!)

Great room.

Great location on the beach; convenient to food and shopping. Room was clean and comfortable. Service as good. The free wireless Internet access was also a plus.

Basic but clean

This hotel is not up to large city standards for chain hotels but for the outerbanks it is clean, neat and in a great location. The beach access is perfect and it is close to some good resturants.

Good for a stay

Had an emergency and needed a place. Worked out well.

Comfortable Room

We found our room comfortable and clean although just a little small for 4 people. It was fine for one night. The free breakfast was very nice with a belgian waffle machine. I would stay here again.

Good room; okay price

The room was small, but clean and comfy. Thought the price was a little high for what we got, although it was one of the better deals we saw in OBX area.

Very used hotel

You can tell that this hotel is used very frequently. The room had a funny smell, but went away once we put the ac on and opened the door for a few minutes. The view was beautiful, but I wouldn't consider this a 5 star hotel. It just had a very used smell and feel to it.

Old Fashioned but Perfectly Satisfactory

Layout of the Motel is very old fashioned. Access to room on second floor of one of the three buildings was by inconvenient stairs on far end of building. Room and bathroom were very clean and neat with new carpet bedspread, adequate towels and furniture.Nice and quiet. Don't waste money on "oceanside" . Motel has walkway galleys outside all rooms. If you open draperies you are in a storefront while people walk by and beach is a good distance away. Breakfast room was small but very new and clean. Cereal, waffles, toast.

Clean, comfortable room

The hotel is very old. The exterior is rather dingy but our room was clean and comfortable. The bathroom was tiny. The continental breakfast was nice. We would probably prefer to stay in the other Days Inn down the street next time.

This hotel was located directly on the beach. Rooms were clean and comfortable. Excellent value for what we paid.
