Nice room for the money, but needs improvement

The Hotel location is great. The only complaint I have is the pool chairs were torn. The hotel needs to invest in new chairs. Otherwise, the hotel was fine.

Location is great....hotel needs work

I have stayed at this hotel a few times. The location is great for a vacation due to the proximity of the beach, the shops and the restaurants. The valet service is polite and friendly, could be a tad overpriced. The upkeep of the hotel has a little bit to be desired. This time when I arrived there was a pretty noticable unpleasant odor on the 8th floor. A day or two later it eventually wnet away or wasn't as noticable. Also, the last time I was here the room was in tip top shape, robes in the bathroom and lots of coat hangers in the closet. I thought things were getting better. This time I was in the same room and it looked like it had been robbed, no robes only two coat hangers, dishes missing, etc. Overall, the loaction and I get a good nights sleep and that is all I want. However those who are looking for more may want to look elsewhere.

Ok hotel but carpets and bedding stained.

For a higher end hotel it was very disappointing. The staff did not unload our dish washer. Carpets and furniture were stained. Bedding also stained.

Very Nice Place

The only complaint I have is the parking situation. Valet parking ONLY and the cost is $21 a day.

A lot of room for the money,

The suites are very roomy and comfortable, The room was clean and well apppointed. My only complaint is there is only once ice machine and it is on the 4th floor. My room was on the 10th floor. Other than that minor inconvenience, the hotel was really nice.

spacious rooms

great hotel for $$s. Room was clean, spacious and had a great view of the waterway. Location was not perfect, however, the water taxi stops at the hotel frequently and with a day pass for $13 you can get on and off as many times as you like. Would stay there again.

Fabulous room for the money

We had a 2 bedroom/2 bath room for a very reasonable rate. Very nice and clean. Shower door was off the hinge, engineering came up and fixed it right away. everyone was friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good but drinks were very expensive. elevators are slow too when the hotel was crowded. Water taxi was convenient and location next to mall was nice. Would definitely stay there again.

Wonderful Accomodations and Superb Staff

Girls Weekend Out! All threee of us have agreed that, "We must frequent Fort Lauderdale at least 4 times a year." We have all selected Galley One Double Tree as our home base. The Lobby staff provided us with the personal touch we needed as we planned our activities. The dining room staff was attentive to our needs and very pleasant. Ironically, the staff did not know we are in the process of establing a traveling service. Hotels . Com You did it again. Thanks

great view, room, hotel service, even room service great. like a four star hotel for a lot less.
