Trip Type: Romance Review 1 of 21Value for money in off season
Other than threadbare carpet the cabin was very comfortable. We would hate to have to pay the nightly cost in the middle of ski season however!

I loved the cabin that we got and would recommend this place to anybody. It would have been nice for them to tell me that they were going to put a hold on my credit card for "indidentals" which took four days before the pending transaction was removed from my card, but other than that, it was great!

Trip Type: Romance Review 3 of 21Great value and location.....
I found the location to be perfect for all or our needs. The comfort exceeded expectations and the value was great. Glad we found this. Plan to return the end of this month and in September.

Cozy. Rustic, but adorabel. Really close to down town. We will definitely stay here again next time we visit Aspen.

Trip Type: Romance Review 6 of 21Quaint, comfortable, and central
If you're looking for a homey Aspen experience, then L'Auberge is for you. The quaint cabins are very cute and equipped with everything you need. The kitchenette was handy for breakfast. The two-person tub tempting, although we opted for the hot tub instead. The furnishings were charming. The only complaints I had were the bed was a little springy, and the hot tub wasn't full on our first day (they fixed this by day 2). This hotel is a short walk to downtown, making it convenient yet more affordable than more central options. And it's right on the bus, making it easy to get to Highlands for skiing. Two thumbs up to L'Auberge. We'd return in a heartbeat!

Trip Type: Romance Review 7 of 21Totally Exceeded Our Expectations
We did not stay at the L'Auberge d'Aspen. We stayed at a sister inn of the L'Auberge d'Aspen, the Innsbruck Hotel. The Innsbruck has recently undergone a complete remodel, and feels like a brand new hotel. Our "room" was not a room at all. It was a large suite with a full kitchen, fireplace, king size bed, washer/dryer, and a jacuzzi tub. One of the nicest hotel suites I've ever seen. Well worth the price.

Trip Type: Romance Review 9 of 21Great romantic getaway
We arrived late but the key was waiting fo us and the room was fantastic, especially for the price. It was quaint, cosy and romantic. We really enjoyed our stay there and will look there first when we return to Aspen.

Trip Type: Romance Review 10 of 21Cozy Cabin
We stayed in the Alpine cabin. We knew it would be the smallest and it was. But, we found it to be very cozy with nice furniture and wood fireplace. The bathroom left a little to be desired. However, my husband and I enjoyed our stay here and found the staff to be very friendly to us.

Trip Type: Romance Review 11 of 21My new favorite place to stay in Aspen
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the L'Auberge. The room was nice and everything we expected. We were only there for one night. The bed was comfy and the jacuzzi tub just what we needed after 30 hours of running (literally...Colorado Relay). Nice walking distance to downtown. The price was exceptional for an Apsen Hotel.

Trip Type: Romance Review 12 of 21good location, but not great to spend time
calling the rooms "cottages" is a bit of a strech. It's more like a gravel parking lot (with trees), with a number of converted garages serving as cottages. The one we stayed in had views of the neighboring buidling's dumpster and parking lot. Having said that, it did serve our purpose of having an affordable place to stay in Aspen. The bathroom was clean. The kitchenette was very small; not really useable for anything beyond boiling water. The carpet and walls and decor were dingy, making it feel dirty.

Trip Type: Romance Review 15 of 21Great room for the money
Unlike several reviews, I thought the cottage we stayed in was quite roomy (like a miniature house). It did look a little longer and higher than other cottages there, so I think that if you want the space, you should make sure to select a room with a jacuzzi tub included.
