Trip Type: Romance Review 1 of 18small rooms in expensive hotel
We enjoyed our stay due to convenience of location , but the room was really small for such an expensive hotel. Also, we were 3 doors down from a club room (I assume a private party room) and there were people running up and down our hall screaming from Midnite till after 3AM, so it was difficult to sleep. I also find it amazing that the more expensive hotels (like this one) charge extra for internet services. I did find the front desk staff and the hospitality staff to be helpful. We stayed and enjoyed a breakfast in the hotel dining room the next day and the wait staff was also excellent

Trip Type: Romance Review 2 of 18Great Experience
The hotel was old but very classy, it had a great deal of character. I loved every minute of it. If i had to complain about anything it would be the size of our room...but i guess you get what you pay for.

Trip Type: Romance Review 4 of 18Great room for the money
The club floor we were on was excellent. The room was beautiful and we really enjoyed the evening hors dourves and Sunday morning breakfast. It was a great place to spend a romantic weekend.

Trip Type: Romance Review 7 of 18Great Overall
Very nice, tastefully updated rooms. Nice large bathroom. Great old fashioned ambiance, and attached to Tower Center indoor mall, with 100 shops and restaurants. Nice hotel restaurants. Nice room service. Very helpful hotel staff. Base rate is great, extras a bit pricy, such as parking garage ($22/day); internet ($13/day). Overall, for the money, a good deal if you want to be downtown.

Trip Type: Romance Review 8 of 18Outstanding Hotel
We spent three nights in July to see a few Red Sox games at Jacobs Field........never had to leave the hotel....huge mall attached with a walk way to the field!!! Walking distance to the Rock and Roll Hall of fame. Beautiful City, beautiful hotel.....definately will be back!

Trip Type: Romance Review 11 of 18needs improvement
First room overlooked a stone roof . and the room smelled heavily of smoke. We were to have a Atrium view. We had to move and go to a smaller room on a different floor.

Trip Type: Romance Review 12 of 18Location is a Strength
Beautiful old hotel, very close to everything in Downtown Cleveland. The mall attached to the hotel contains the subway in the basement so getting from the airport to the hotel is very easy (and cheap!) The mall itself is decent, but contains a very transient crowd, possibly do to the subway access and other hotels within the mall. The stores all close early, even on the weekends. There is a covered walkway from the hotel/mall to Jacobs Field. Service in the hotel itself is outstanding and the bedding is of high quality. Being an old hotel, though, the walls are VERY thin and you hear everything all night long. Other than that, the hotel met our expectations and I would stay there again.

Trip Type: Romance Review 14 of 18Great place
My wife and i loved it. I don't know if i missed it or what but the hotel is connected to the tower city complex. we went there first and then spent 20 minutes trying to find the hotel just to discover that it was down the hallway on the lower level. (my wife found it quite funny) the room service was very nice and the hotel staff was very helpful. I called at 10 am and asked for roses other stuff to be in the room by the 3pm check in and it was there plus more then i asked for. we will be back.

Trip Type: Romance Review 15 of 18A wonderful overnight vacation
Check-in staff were extremely corteous and friendly. General hotel staff was friendly; everyone said hello and and were willing to offer advice. Would love to stay again. The only negaive, and it was minor, was that a mirror cleaning cloth was left in the bathroom.
