Trip Type: Family Review 3 of 156Excellent Hotel Choice
Hotel is in an excellent location. Walking distance from food, entertainment and shopping. Short walk from China Town. Hotel interior was nicely designed and decorated. Will stay again.

Trip Type: Family Review 5 of 156One day parking $50, internet $12.95
We thought we had good deal till we realized we had do pay an extra $50 doolars a day for paking. This is crazy and this was not mensioned anywere. The rooms are small. the bathroom fan did not work and the bathroom needed maintenance. The rooms should be checked for every thing to make sure everything is functioning okay before we check in. If I am going to stay in a place for only one night I do not want to spend a long time changing rooms just because they did not want to go trough the trouble of making sure every thing is in functioning order!!! I also was disapointment for the fact that they charge $12 for internet. this is 2009 and interents should be as a part of the room not extra charge anymore, as many hotels are includidng as a part of the hotel room rate. Specially for a hotel in the center of cilicon vally it is embaresing that they are charging for basic internet with a low speed...... The rooms are clean and remodeled but again this is a 4start hotel and we should expect any less.

Trip Type: Family Review 6 of 156Great location extortionate parking fees
Very "hip"hotel within easy reach of most attractions. Rooms very clean and well appointed but could do with some sound proofing. Only downer is the price to park your car..but that is pretty much something that is common in tourist cities.

Trip Type: Family Review 9 of 156Reduced noice
I stayed on 7th floor. I could hear police sirens and some construction noises early in the morning and nights. The hotel needs to noise proof their walls - If that is done this can be the best hotel. The bed was just great ! The food was not that expensive for that type of hotel as well.

Trip Type: Family Review 11 of 156Uncomfortable
Rooms have been remodeled, beds are terrible, very uncomfortable, feels like box springs with a pad on it. Amenities were sparce...low quality. Hotel was much nicer before remodel, this hotel is no longer a Marriott Hotel, maybe new owners? The only great thing about hotel is location right in middle of Union Square.

Trip Type: Family Review 12 of 156Great Hotel with Exceptional Location
We received a free upgrade to the top floor (32nd)upon check-in. Great location right in Union Square; no noise issues at all. Rooms very comfortable except for the lack of drawers for clothes; we had to live out our suti cases. Definitely will stay there again.

Trip Type: Family Review 13 of 156Liked it better before recent remodel!
We have stayed at this hotel many times & it was our favorite in Union Square. But we were very disappointed with the remodel of the hotel lobby (1st & 2nd floor). The hotel was much more elegant & beautiful before the remodel. The new "art" is horrible. Also,There were hardly any seats available in the lobby. The charm is gone. The room was good but small. Beds & pillows were very comfortable. What a shame that the management decided to "improve"/remodel. Parking is way too expensive!

Trip Type: Family Review 14 of 156Great Contemporary Lobby
The room was tired, but the newly renovated lobby was great. Continuous problem with electronic room key, requireing multiple trips to the front desk after being "locked out" of my own room.
