Trip Type: Romance Review 1 of 79Get there before 10 pm
The late staff was not helpful and they were incredibly slow. I would recommend for the money to stay somewhere else.

Trip Type: Romance Review 7 of 79Beautiful Hotel - Great Room for the Money
We booked 3 nights at the Manchester Grand Hyatt - San Diego over Labor Day weekend and had a blast. It was very conveniently located just steps from Seaport Village, was impeccably clean and beautiful. The room was great for the price we paid and truly had a wonderful time. We weren't able to take advantage of its many amenities due to the short amount of time we were there, but the activities for the kids, gorgeous pool, hot tub just to name a few make it a fantastic place to go as a couple or a family. We will most definitely go there again in the near future! Thank you

Trip Type: Romance Review 8 of 79Wi-Fi not included?!?!
I was pretty surprised to find out that internet access in the room was not included in the price of the room. That's ridiculous. It should be included in the room rate, and Hotels.com should add information about this in their hotel details. Had I known that I'd have to pay $10 each day for 24 hrs of bandwidth-limited internet access, I would have gladly paid $20 more per day to stay somewhere else with decent wifi included. Otherwise this hotel is fine.

Trip Type: Romance Review 10 of 79Great Hotel!
We stayed here over Labor Day weekend. It was wonderful! The room, lobby and service were all great. We got a good deal, and would definatley return again. Great For Kids: The pool area has a bondfire area where you can roast marshmallows and showed a kids movie on Friday night. The location is great for walking by the water and is right next to seaport village. Note: We did have a car to go elsewhere in the city, but it isnt a long walk into the Gaslamp district. There were also bike cabs sitting out front to take you anywhere you would want to go. Overall this hotel is GREAT!

Trip Type: Romance Review 12 of 79Beautiful View
Had a great panoramic view of the bay. From what I can tell every room had a good view of some sort. Great location and wonderful hotel employees. I would definately stay there again and I have already recommended it to my firends and family. Just be prepared for the $22 a day parking fee.

We paid an unexpectedly low price for the hotel. It was so centrally located with awesome views!

Trip Type: Romance Review 14 of 79First time visit to San Diego, great hotel!
This was our first time in San Diego, and the hotel staff at the Manchester Grand Hyatt San Diego made our visit very pleasant and relaxing. The hotel itself is conveniently located on the harbor, and within walking distance of the Gas Lamp Quarter. Parking was available on site (this is what we chose to do) although the city train was available across the street (not close enough to be a nuisance but not so far as to be inconvenient). Also, a ferry to Coronado Island set off from a dock quite close to the hotel. The hotel staff was extremely pleasant and helpful as soon as we checked in, giving us a map and suggestions on what to see during our stay and the best way tot get there. The room was clean and gorgeous, our view from the 23rd floor was second only to the view from the bar on the 40th floor. The roof deck pool was as nice as the pictures make it seem (felt pretty luxurious), and the hotel contained every amenity we could have possibly needed. While it is in a centralized location, the hotel itself is definitely a bit touristy but not in a bad way. We were able to easily explore the city and had a comfortable home base to return to at the end of each day. It was worth the money, we honestly had no complaints at all. I would stay here again without hesitation the next time I travel to San Diego.
