Loved it!

We were in San Diego for a friend's wedding and had no idea where to stay. We got a great deal through hotels.com and stayed at this hotel for 3 nights. We wish we could have stayed longer! The location was great, the hotel staff was friendly, the room was comfortable and very clean! We highly recommend this hotel for any type of stay!

Our stay was nice good great buffet in hotel good service through out, close to the gas lamp district for the night life. we had an excellent time

Convenient with Water Views

We attended an annual conferenece at the Convention Center. We always enjoy the water front, but this was the first time we stayed there. We wish we could have spent more time in the room - it was comfortable, had awesome water views and was convenient for all that we wanted to do both at the conference and for meals with friends. We would love to stay there again.

Nice Hotel Good Location

The Manchester Grand Hyatt is a very nice hotel. It is conveniently located to downtown San Diego and many areas of interest including Coronado Island. Many shops and restaurants are in easy walking distance from the hotel. We soon found out that our rentsl car was not needed. Walk or take a cab. Parking can be a problem. Our room had two double beds and seemed a little small but it was nice, clean and well kept. There was also a small refrigerator in the armoire. Parking at the hotel cost $22.00 a day. The hotel staff was friendly and helpful. Also directly behind the hotel(just walk out the back door of the Hyatt) is Seaport Village. Seaport Village has many shops and restaurants which over look San Diego Bay and a wonderful boardwalk that will take you down to the aircraft carrier Midway Museum. We sat outside two mornings and had a wonderful breakfast at the Edgewater Grill(Seaport Village) which over looks the bay. Over all I would say that the Manchester Grand Hyatt is a good place to stay.

fabulous hotel

It exceeded my expectations. The staff was so attentive to every need and went out of their way to be helpful. We had a magnificent view. Comfortable beds. topped off by a fireworks show two nights in a row in the harbor unexpectedly. Very conveniently located walking distance from train station with easy access to ground transportation. Seaport Village with lot of shops and restaurants only a couple of blocks away. Would encourage any friend to definately stay there without any hesitation.

Great Hotel

Everything went well during our stay. The best part was the cleaning lady. She made sure we had everything we needed. She was always professional and pleasant.
