Trip Type: Business Review 1 of 11Embassy Suites, Cleveland Downtown, February 2009
The hotel shuttle delivered us to the wrong theatre, potentially missing the musical for which we had tickets. The lobby at Embassy Suites is a joke, partitioned off to make a mini-mall. The room was bare, missing a dining table and chairs and a coffee table in front of the sofa.

The staff was extremely helpful and polite. The room was great and the beds were comfortable.

The staff was very nice, very helpful. The food in the restaurant was good. The room itself needed some maintenance. One chair was broken, the sofa not so comfortable and the knob on the shower fell off. Also the ice maker on our floor had been out of order for two weeks and was not repaired when we left.

Trip Type: Business Review 6 of 11Two TVs is nice for parents with kids
Having a separate bedroom was very nice, and the price was not too much over what other hotels charged for a single room. The beds were a little small, but my wife and I did not notice (just our two teen-aged boys). If they wanted to separate, one of them could have used the pull-out couch, though, so that is no complaint. The couch itself was not as comfortable to sit on, but everything else was nice. The room was very spacious. The breakfast was fantastic! (Made-to-order omelettes, hot buffet, nice setting, etc.)

Trip Type: Business Review 8 of 11Parking hijinx
Be careful about the parking at this hotel. the staff completely mislead you. The Valet parking IS NOT cheaper than self-park. Self-park at attached garage is $10 per day. Valet is $18 plus tips. Room strangely sparse and cold, though the two panel tvs are nice. Bathroom lights turn off at the wrong side and the sink and tub do not drain. Heating and cooling impossible to control. Breakfast is good.

Trip Type: Business Review 9 of 11good deal
staff were all friendly and helpful, room was ok, great tv's and amenities but had some setup issues. card table in room, hope that it was temporary. had a clogged sink which should have been a 5 min fix took 2 hours and a maintenance team with lots of power tools. silly. still friendly in their incompetence, however. I received no compensation other than a 'free movie' offer which i declined as my day was already way behind due to maintenance. Excellent complimentary breakfast and dining staff.
