Trip Type: Family Review 2 of 61Great room for the money
The place was under renovation so I thought the price was good for what we got. The beds were the most comfortable we had ever slept on. The room was clean and high class. The Continental Breakfast was very good.

Trip Type: Family Review 3 of 61Great Room, Great Rate
I was presently surprised at the room. I am always a little scared to book rooms online as the hotel pictures can be deceiving. The hotel was very clean, and very close to Hollywood and Universal Studios where we were visiting. The room was bigger than I thought it would be and the bed was very comfortable. I was even surprised to find a microwave and refrigerator. Parking was an extra nightly fee that is not advertised, however, worth every penny. The lot is very secure with a guard on duty so you know you and your vehicle will be safe. Overall I would stay here again and recommend staying here. Great value and great hotel.

Trip Type: Family Review 4 of 61Very convenient to Metro
What's not mentioned in the Hotels.com listing is how convenient this hotel is to the Metro! We were able to leave the car at the hotel and ride the Metro to Universal Studios and to Mann Theatre. Way better than having to drive in crazy LA traffic. There is a fifteen dollar charge for parking that is not mentioned in hotel info, but it beats having to drive!

Trip Type: Family Review 5 of 61Room needs update
Carpet in room was torn and stained. Piant on walls was dammaged. Hallways, reception area and restaurant were all highly satisfactory. Have stayed here before. Did not find the personnel to be unfriendly. In fact they were quite helpful.

Trip Type: Family Review 6 of 61Comfortable Hotel.. I recommend
This's a good hotel with all facilities..Great value for money, we stayed 3 days and we enjoyed our stay.. I observed that this hotel needs only two minor improvements: 1. some of the guest rooms requires new wall papers otherwise its very good. 2. Sometimes the front desk people doesn't smile at all as if they dont know how to smile. But, some of them are really good and friendly. Finally, I would recommend this hotel and I may prefer the same hotel again.

Trip Type: Family Review 8 of 61Awsome.
It was a great Stay. Just that the walls were dirty to be a Ramada Hotel, but other than the walls the room was nice. Its about 10 Miles awaay from Universal Stud. witch that was my destination for Horror Night. I Do recommended to others. Plus be awar there is a $15 fee for parking a day.

they never change their breakfast and not many choices. The worst thing is they charge everything toll free call and even reserve taxi.

Trip Type: Family Review 10 of 61Good for the price, customer service is lacking
The best thing about this hotel was the price; the worst thing was their customer service. For example, I asked the front desk for a fork and they told me to go down the street to buy one. I also asked for a refund on an in-room movie that I had ordered which stopped working after 45 minutes and was told "no". Overall if you are looking for a reasonably priced hotel but don't care so much about the quality of the customer service than this hotel is for you. Other things to note, the room was clean, but small. Location was convenient to downtown LA and Hollywood sites, but not in the best neighborhood. Breakfast is included which is nice. Parking is extra but priced comparably to other hotels in the area.

Trip Type: Family Review 11 of 61good beds
the room was a double queen with pleaty of room present with a sofa, refrigerator, and bar area. the beds are nice and soft, with a variety of density pillows. the wired internet is limited due to a very short ethernet cord placed between the beds. the nieghborhood can be intimidating. if your expecting clean and obviously safe, this is not it but we had no problem. parking is $15, which i didn't see on the information page prior to booking. good breakfast available downstairs. the staff varied, i liked the night staff but the morning desk clerk needs to smile more. overall one of the better rooms this week.

Trip Type: Family Review 14 of 61Great Hotel, location could be better.
The actual hotel was very nice. It was clean and nice looking. Complimentary breakfast was very good. The surrounding area was not so terrific, but had gated parking lot. Location to studios and Hollywood attractions was okay, but it took nearly an hour to get to the beach. Overall, it was a very good value for the money.
