AWESOME HOTEL

The only problem I had with this hotel was You had to pay $16.50 a day to park in it's parking lot. The front desk representative made it sound like your car would end up on blocks in their neighborhood. I was pretty sure it wouln't, but I there wasn't much of a choice. The continental breakfast was awesome. Fresh eggs, waffles cooked to order, fruit, juices, morning television. They problably paid for the breakfast with the parking fee. Nightly entertainment in the bar: Jazz, Popular comedians. The bartender played. Full restaurant, event ballroom, pool. Worth every cent, maybe even more.

Great room for the money

The room exceeded my expectations and the hotel itself was beautiful, however the area was not sooo good. I also had a blast at the karaoke bar. The one thing I disagree with is the inflated price for parking, $16.50 per night is ridiculous!!

Great Price

Overeall it was an ok stay. However the room did not have a closet. There were hangers in the dresser, but nothing to hang them on. I had to hang my clothes on the shower bar. They also use loud floor equipment during the night to clean the floors, which could be heard down the hallway and in the room. The room did have some dust in places where it shouldnt have been.

"Needs Improvement"

Internet connection was not functioning, hotel central heating system was turned off when it was cold. In room space heater blew the hotel room breaker. Wired internet connection appeared to have a bad net cable inroom.

mediocre at best.

i wasn't very satisfied with my stay at this hotel. upon checking in, the girl at the front desk was really rude to me for no reason. the room we stayed in smelled so weird, like honey baked ham and cigarettes. it was so hot in there too! and no windows, only a sliding glass door that opens onto a somewhat shared balcony. the room itself was the oddest shape, kind of like it was two rooms and they knocked a wall down to make it a single room? and the decor was totally 80s, nothing at all like they show in the picture. they try to hype it up and say its the ultimate hollywood hotel, but its not even in hollywood. the breakfast was decent, but better get there early because there is a line out to the hallway. parking was way overpriced. if you park on the street and don't use their lot, they still charge you unless you give them "proof" you didn't park in their lot. i would maybe stay at this hotel again if i was desperate, because the room was clean and it was in a decent location. although the housekeeping maid did accidently come into our room when we were in there. she apologized though. the housekeeping staff were the friendliest people there, i'd say.

Good Value and Very Comfortable

Upon check-in the hotel staff was cold and not very welcoming. Once we checked-in, the room was comfortable and quiet. The bathroom was very clean and the bed was cozy and comfortable. The remote for the TV did not work well and was frustrating to work with. The hotel location was good and had several great restaurants nearby.

Rooms need improvement and an air freshner

At first this hotel seemed decent but from the slowest elevator i've ever been in to the oddest smelling room, it was all downhill from there. The rooms desperatley need a remodel and the bed and tub were both 4 inches too high, i'm 6'1 so it didnt bother me however a shorter person would need either a step stool or a running start. Overall the room had a bad odor, the fan/heater made the smell worse and the bed was somewhat comfortable. The breakfast buffet was suppose to last until 10:30 however they had cleaned everthing off by 10:15am, so never got a chance to try that. This is more of a 2 start motel, not a 3 star hotel.

The hotel is good but they charge unexpected 13.20$ for daily parking which considerable increases cost of room.

Great for the money

After reading other reviews, I didn't know what to expect. My husband and I was pleasantly surprised when got to our room. It was very clean,the bed was really comfy, and we had a balcony to the main road. I didn't think the neighborhood was bad, I felt secure walking the street day and night. Breakfast was good, there were waffles, sausage, eggs, etc. You can't beat it for free! The absolute best part was the location. We could get to the top destinations fast, well fast for LA anyway! The only thing that gets low marks would be the traffic noise in the room because of the balcony, it wasn't enough noise that we couldn't sleep though. I would recommend this hotel.

Great Room For The Money

Rooms could be a Little Bigger. It was a little cramped for even Two people. We are major coffee drinkers and take sugar in our coffee but ran out every day that We were there. Outside, On each patio ashtrays are recommended. They should be taken out of the hallways.
