Trip Type: Family Review 1 of 34Great Weekend in NYC
Took my daughter to NYC for a birthday celebration. The location was great. The room was beautiful - and big for NYC! Service was good. Felt like we got a great deal for the price. We will definitely go back to the Michelangelo for future trips - we won't even look into other hotels!

Trip Type: Family Review 2 of 34GREAT LOCATION
SECOND STAY AT MICHELANGELO, WE LIKED TO CONVENIENCE TO MID-TOWN AND BROADWAY. THE STAFF WAS COURTEOUS AND HELPFUL. THE HOTEL SHOULD OFFER FREE WIRELESS INTERNET. ALSO NEEDED TO GET NEAR A WINDOW TO USE CELL PHONE.

Trip Type: Family Review 3 of 34Comfort and pampering in the heart of NYC
I was extremely happy with my stay here, and I would definitely stay here again. The location was perfect - close proximity to Central Park, shops on Fifth Ave., Rockefeller Center, Times Square, etc...When we went to check in, we saw that they had voluntarily upgraded our room. The room was huge, even for a hotel room that one would find in the suburbs. It was meticulously clean with fine furnishings, and the bed was extremely comfortable. It was like sleeping in a blanket of clouds. The complimentary breakfast, though simple, was exquisite. They served the finest of coffees and espresso drinks, with quality croissants and scones. A European breakfast of the highest quality. I very much look forward to going back to NYC and staying at The Michelangelo.

Trip Type: Family Review 4 of 34Great room for the money
The location is outstanding for visitors to New York. The price for the size and comfort and cleanliness of the room was hard to beat ($190/night). We have stayed at the Hudson in the past which has a much "hipper" lobby and bar, but the rooms were ridiculously small and more expensive. We stayed with our 10 month old son and had a crib for him. There was plenty of room for this. We also had a babysitter for two nights arranged through the hotel. She too was exceptional and put us a great ease. We had drinks one evening on the roof of the Peninsula, and make no mistake, this hotel is not nearly as swank as that or the Plaza or the Mandarin, but for $190, this was a great buy.

Trip Type: Family Review 5 of 34Great Hotel
The Michelangelo is right in the middle of the theater district which is a great location for vacationing in New York. The hotel staff were very friendly. The concierge offered great restuarant recommendations. The hotel is clean and comfortable. - If I visit the city again I will stay at the Michelangelo!

Trip Type: Family Review 6 of 34Beyond our expectations
Wonderful, big comfortable room! With an outstanding bed. Only downside was no view and the $9.95 cost per day for internet. Otherwise a terrific place to stay in New York.

Trip Type: Family Review 8 of 34Great Boutique Hotel
Really enjoyed our stay at the Michelangelo Hotel off of Times Square. Check-in was fast and the staff was courteous. Nice large rooms and outstanding bath..only negative is that the room looked at a brick wall of another building..nice touch in the evening when the maids turn down the bed, places chocolate in room and filled the ice bucket...btw, only one ice machinine in the hotel - on the 5th floor and try and find it!!

Trip Type: Family Review 13 of 34Great Hotel
This was our 2nd stay here and having staying in most of the name-brand hotels in the area over the years, this one beats them all. The rooms are large and very comfortable, and the hotel is quiet. It's small so the lobby is never crowded and the elevators are quick and usually empty.
