Trip Type: Business Review 5 of 59Large spacious rooms in a great loaction
The hotel has very large comfortable rooms. The hotel appears to be under going a rennovation, so there are some rooms with newer furnishings and some work being done around the hotel. If you are looking for a wild nightlife scene, this is not the hotel for you, but if you want a nice relaxing stay, I would highly recommend this hotel.

Trip Type: Business Review 6 of 59A hotel to return to
I stay at the Michelangelo regularly because the rooms are spacious and exquisite at a cost that is reasonable for a NYC hotel. More than that, though, the Michelangelo is staffed with REAL people who take a genuine interest in the quality of my stay. I feel so welcomed every time I return that I've come to consider this hotel my home away from home.

Trip Type: Business Review 8 of 59Nice Hotel but they charge extra for internet !
Nice everything, clean, roomy, overall a good nights sleep! Complimentary breakfast consists of coffee, croissants, scones and apples. No healthy options here if you want more than an apple and the coffee at the Duke (just a few doors down) is much better tasting. Shocked that they feel the need to charge extra $10 per 24hrs. for internet service. Internet should be considered a basic accommodation today. Most other hotels, many a lot less expensive include this as part of the rate. Hey, maybe they should get rid of the comp breakfast and provide comp internet service instead!

Trip Type: Business Review 9 of 59Comfortable & Quiet
This was my 2nd stay. Very quiet. Hotel was full and you don't hear people next door or above you. Rooms are spacious and well appointed. Turn down service. There were only two things which weren't too big a deal: 1. If your room is in the back, it was a dead zone..no cell phone service...no bars at all, even when I walked to the window. I changed rooms the next day. Secondly, with the air conditioner on, you couldn't hear the television. They have the volume set so you cannot increase the volume and you can't hear it very well. No big deal, but if you are in your room to watch a movie, it could be a proble.

Trip Type: Business Review 12 of 59Spectacular Find!!
The Michaelangelo is my favorite NYC hotel! Their restaurant, Insienne, is a real treat! The rooms are larger than most you'll find in the city, with a large tub!

Trip Type: Business Review 13 of 59Definitely will stay here again
A beautiful hotel and clean, comfortable, reasonable, with a helpful staff. I will stay here every time I come to NYC on business again in Midtown. I was here for 3 days, 2 nights and don't have one complaint (and I'm a complainer). Do yourself a favor and stay here....

Trip Type: Business Review 14 of 59Great hotel
arrived after midnight and was warmly greeted by hotel staff. Also, I was upgraded to a junior suite. I travel all the time and hotel room cleanliness is very important to me....my room was very clean, comfortable (including bed) and decorated very well (browns and slate blue colors) with beautiful drapery, pillows, furniture, and comforter. I would stay here again. Also, very close to times square.

Trip Type: Business Review 15 of 59Nice Hotel
Large, comfortable rooms that are very elegantly finished. The location is close to many attractions so you can walk most everywhere you need to in Midtown. Free coffee service in the morning is very good. I will stay here again!
