Luxury

This is one of the best hotels that I have stayed at. They spared no expense with attention to detail in every area. The pools are amazing!

outworld luxury hotle

very beautiful hotel even I had the lowest price for one night. I wonder how luxury would be for $1000 room.

Wonderful! Extravagant!

When you want to treat yourself. Stay at the Grand Del Mar Hotel! BEAUTIFUL! PLEASANT! EXTRAVAGANT! We only stayed one night, but there are so many things to do.

Beautiful Resort

This breathtaking resort felt like we had escaped to some exotic location in the Mediterranean. The staff was helpful and genuine and the hotel was surprisingly kid friendly. The pools were amazing - especially a toddler wading pool ranging from 6" to 1' which gave us (parents) an opportunity to relax on a lounge chair less than 3 feet away. They also have croquet, hiking trails, golf, and numerous fire pits to enjoy in the evening - they will even bring out marshmallows for the kids to roast!

Beyond my expectation

The property is grand and wonderful. You sense the air of elegance right as you go thru the driveway gate. Great service. Staff well-trained and respectful. Updated, clean, and very comfortable room. Free valet parking and the valet even offered ice cold bottled water on a warm day. Most impressive.

Great Hotel must check out!!!

The Grand Del Mar was a lovely hotel. Very kid friendly, lots of kids there. The rooms are very beautiful, great bathrooms, no dvd player in the room. The grouds of the hotel are green and lots of room for kids to run around. The food was great and great prices for kids food. Beautiful place to get married. Also got to see lots of hot air balloons in the early evening, one even landed on the front grounds. Very easy to get to Sea World

great stay

We had a great stay, the staff was great. rooms and hotel itself was beautiful. I read other reviews that said this hotel wasn't kid friendly, we found it to be very kid friendly. The only thing we were disappointed in was in the food. It was great food by the pool, but fine dinning it was not. If you are looking for fine food you would be better to drive the 10 min. to Del Mar.
