alway satisfied

I've stayed here many times for business and pleasure over the past 10 years. Nice hotel, very convenient, great value. Hotel is smallish as are the rooms but for 1 or 2 people its fine. My only complaint: parking is costly.

Good Value for the price but beware of parking fees

Great place but parking cost half the price of the room!

Great Hotel! Even better than I expected!!!

Room was immaculate yet small (as stated in previous reviews - think standard European hotel room size). Courtyard view was a relief since it muffled the noises of nearby Fishermen's Wharf. Staff was helpful and fast. Walking distance from everywhere I needed to be. Will definitely stay here again. Oh and I loved that there was room in the mini-fridge to store a few of my own beverages and snacks. Plus the full-sized ironing board & iron came in handy since I traveled carry-on only.

Good location, great room for the money

The hotel, from the outside, was as nice as advertised. The room was on the small side but I expected that and for me it was not an issue; it was well appointed, clean and interestingly modern in its decor. I was in town for business training at a nearby hotel and, although I'm not much for the touristy wharf area, the hotel was a block removed from the tourist action and within walking distance of other great areas (like North Beach--great Italian restaurants and nightlife). There were a few small drawbacks on this visit, though. When I settled into my room I called for information from the concierge/front desk, even left a few messages, but received no response. In addition, I expected all sorts of things to be a little pricier in the city, but the cost for room service and valet parking seemed a bit exhorbitant. To be honest the secure parking anywhere in the city is pricey, so I just added it to the room cost and still felt like I got a pretty good deal. If you are in SF for business or just to see the sights and would like a nice, modern, clean and simple room to sleep in at night then this is the place for you. I highly recommend it.

Can't go wrong

Location, the room, and the hotel restaurant are fantastic for the money. highly recommend, and I normally stay in Hilton's or Marriott's. They never seem to have enough front desk or valet personnel, so expect slow service at the desk. Everything else is top notch. Only 2 blocks from the main part of Fisherman's Warf.
