Trip Type: Business Review 3 of 30Wow!
This is a fine hotel..... clean and nice rooms, friendly staff, elevators work great, morning meals are easy and nice, ....I can't think of anything that wasn't nearly "perfect" If you make more than $500,00 a year maybe this won't fit your ego but I loved it and look forward to my return. I do recommend the rooms with the ocean view: best view in Waikiki.

My second mistake, after booking this place for a three day business trip, was expecting that the price tag would correlate with the accommodations and service. I was sorely disappointed, and if not for the no-refund policy, I would've moved to another hotel. The staff I encountered was friendly and helpful- but stretched too thin to be adequate. My bathroom wasn't clean upon arrival and a request to have it cleaned was never fulfilled. There was a loud vibrating noise coming out of the bathroom and an engineer assured me that it was just part of the plumbing, and that it's an old system. He suggested I close the bathroom door while trying to sleep. The parking situation is expensive and inconvenient, mostly due to low staffing and limited space. Don't bother with the "breakfast on the beach," it's a joke. The view is stunning, but beach views are plentiful in Waikiki. Stay elsewhere.

Trip Type: Business Review 5 of 30Very Nice / Nice Staff / Tricky A/C
My only complaint was with the a/c unit... it was tedious to keep the room comfortable and i ended up with a cold from the unit blowing on me throughout my stay. The hotel itself was really nice and the staff was nice too. Maintenance did try to help me with the a/c. The view was great and the location is hard to beat. Convenient to food and all of Waikiki fun. I think they rate a 4 star.

When we first checked in, the toilet was broken. After a several hour wait after calling the front desk, we went to the front desk to complain. The toilet was fixed after another 3 hour wait. Fresh towels were never given unless we went to the front desk. I understand the "environmental friendly" hotels but 5 days with the same towels gets pretty funky. The location is great. The beach is right across the street. Breakfast is a cattle call. If you are not there at 6:30 AM, they will run out of food. The food is tolerable at best. If no maintenance is done to the hotel soon, this will have to fight for a 1 star rating. The elevators are in a sad state. The rooms are showing a lot of wear. My opinion is find another hotel.

Trip Type: Business Review 7 of 30Best Value and Comfort
This hotel is very cofortable. You're not paying a ridiculous price. This hotel is a great value for the location and comforts it provides. I would definately recommend this hotel to the first time visitors to Hawaii.

Trip Type: Business Review 9 of 30Valet parking and elevators were HORRIBLE!
Every time I asked for my car, it took FOREVER. One day I asked what the problem was, and his reply was, we have over 50 cars to many. NOT my problem. If I have to Valet my car, I expect reasonable service and at this price, I should have parked it in another parking structure and walked, it would have been faster and maybe cheaper. Every morning we waited and waited and waited for an elevator that had room for, 1,2,3 or for the 4 of us, so we could go down to the lobby. Everyday we took the stairs. UNEXCEPTABLE. The last day we had not water to shower with. they sent us up to the top floors to shower, the first room had NO water. So back down to the front desk and back up again. I now have to travel to Honolulu every Quarter on business, BUT I won't be staying here, FOR SURE.

Trip Type: Business Review 11 of 30rooms a little small but nice
Rooms are a little small and lanai only allows one chair but the room was clean and I loved the red accents. I would stay there again.

The hotel was very accomodating. Our 1st room had a log of wind noise and they gladly moved us to another room. The second room had dirt or something in the sink and they immediately cleaned this out. Parking was $22 a day and the elevators weren't always working but it didn't delay us too much.

Trip Type: Business Review 14 of 30Pleasant experience
The room was pleasant. The view of the ocean was great. The charge for the in-room safe should not be an additional charge, and mainainance should not have to come to the room to set it.
