Trip Type: Business Review 1 of 13Good Value
Other than not having toothbrush/toothpaste either as a courtesy or for sale after my 2 a.m. arrival, this hotel was a good value for a discounted, on-line rate I received. Room was small but with a kitchenette (fridge and sink), along with a small yet new TV. Single lobby elevator is small and slow, and neighborhood is a bit "sketch" especially at night. However, this revitalized property is a blessing and beacon in the neighborhood, and is well located to the Space Needle, waterfront, and downtown.

Trip Type: Business Review 2 of 13Good location and price
The inn is within walking distance to Pike's Market, Space Center and Westlake station. Macrina Bakery nearby is great and there are a lot of restaurants nearby. Not the most charming neighborhood but ultra-convenient.

Trip Type: Business Review 3 of 13Nice for the price and area
Overall a very nice hotel, clean and well kept. Only problem is having a 3rd Street facing room as it was rather noisy even with the window closed (major bus route).

Trip Type: Business Review 4 of 13Good and not so good
After staying here, we realize why some people love it and others hate it. It's a clean, well run hotel with a helpful and competent staff. It's conveniently located within easy walking distance of Pike St Market and Seattle Center, although it borders a less-than-desirable neighborhood. However, it has no A/C, which makes staying in summer a crap-shoot. Our first night was hot and noisy, even though we had a room overlooking the courtyard. After that, the weather broke and it got more comfortable, although we still needed a window open, so it was still pretty noisy. I also found the bed uncomfortable, but that's a matter of taste. Bottom line: probably a great hotel at least three seasons out of the year.

Trip Type: Business Review 5 of 13Pretty much everything I needed was here
Stayed six nights while in town for a conference. Not right on top of the convention center, but close enough (15 min walk), and without the craziness of the shopping district. A short walk from plenty of restaurants, pike market, seattle center, etc. Was intrigued by all of the crackhead comments from other reviewers, and wanted to see if it was true. Turned out there wasn't much to see. Maybe there were a couple out there, but they seemed pretty friendly. Maybe it's not the season. Had a room facing the courtyard and it was pretty quiet. Yes, the rooms were not huge, but sufficient. Staff was friendly and helpful. Nice to have the kitchenette - whole foods market is about 10 min walk - stocked up for my stay. The only negative I could think of was lack of wireless internet access. They do have computers in a little business center which is nice, but hard to use if you really need to get some work done. I did rent a DSL modem from them which cost next to nothing and came in very handy. Overall, would stay there again.

Trip Type: Business Review 6 of 13Nice small hotel in Belltown
Nice small hotel in Belltown. Great room for the price in a great neighborhood. It's a little gritty (the neighborhood) but has great restaurants and is close to downtown. Completely met my expectations. Will definitely stay here again!

Trip Type: Business Review 7 of 13Excellent Seattle Choice
The Belltown Inn has many great things going for it. First, their staff is the most friendly and responsive that I've experienced (and I stay in a lot of hotels). No matter the inquiry, they took great care of me. Second, the Inn itself combines charm and affordability really, really well. The remodel of an older building provides a guest with very comfortable accommodations while preserving its uniqueness. If Seattle is your destination, the Belltown Inn should be your hotel.

Trip Type: Business Review 8 of 13A wonderful visit
My room was very comfortable and the "business center" was a great asset, providing free access to the internet either from my own laptop or their installed computers and also a free connection to a laser printer. Most of all, the staff was was super helpful and friendly--it made a big difference. Thanks, guys!

Trip Type: Business Review 9 of 13Great room for the money
The room size was a little small like a small bedroom but it fit my needs very well. The bed was a little firmer than I like and the pillows where bigger then I like but I got a good nights sleep. I was on the 5th floor. The room was facing the inside cortyard very quiet. There is a small market 1/2 block away that was nice. I did not have a problem with parking. but I can see if you get there after 6-7pm it could be a problem.

Close enough to all the attractions of downtown Seattle for walking. In area with lots of restaurants. Good value. No parking.

Trip Type: Business Review 12 of 13Some areas need work
The hotel and staff at the front desk were very very good. The reason that this place needs work is that the housekeeping was not good. Only the minimum was done (made bed, and new towels). They did not replace dirty glasses with new ones, did not refill coffee, soap, shampoo or conditioner. However the location was good and we would probably stay again if they improve the housekeeping. Also the beds were a bit uncomfortable.
