Trip Type: Family Review 1 of 10Not worth your time or money
The hotel was horrible. I had booked 2 rooms, both had lots of ants around the vanity area, and air conditioning wasn't cooling at all. Shower was broken. Fire alarm went on at around 3am. Breakfast was OK, nothing "continental" about it. Staff wasn't all that caring - when I explained the receptionist about all these issues, she just took notes and said thank you as if I was there to give my feedback rather than enjoy my vacation. Her explanation for all these problems - "This is the first La Quinta built in Miami, and is a a very old building, and very difficult to maintain. Thank you for your feedback." If you want to stay at a La Quinta, stay at La Quinta Inn Miami Airport East, 3501 NW Le Jeune Rd, Miami, FL, 33166. It's much better.

This is a great hotel for the price. Sure there are nicer hotels in Miami but you will pay much more. This hotel was very clean and they didnt have any problems doing anything asked of them. Great stay.

Good location for who have a flight early next day. The carpet was dirt. Few steps and your feet is black.

The first room was full of ants.Ants on the walls, floors, bed, and every where imaginable. The second room, the ac did not work, the toilet was clogged, our key did not work, and the hot water and cold water was reversed. We figured the water issue after our third cold shower.Then we were told that the hotel had no pillows, but that we could use the ones in our first room,(with ants). After all this disaster was said and done, we were tiered and wanted to go to sleep, so we asked for the roll away bed that we reserved for our daughter. You guessed it, They did not have a roll away bed available(my wife slept on a chair all night). The attendant was rude and not willing to help.
