My only complaint is the heat did not work properly so the room was somewhat cold.

Trip Type: With Friends Review 4 of 57Clean, comfortable and excellent location
THE HOTEL WAS CLEAN, COMFORTABLE, AND IN AN EXCELLENT LOCATION. THE STAFF WENT OUT OF THEIR WAY TO TAKE CARE OF US. I WOULD CERTAINLY STAY AT THE HOTEL ADAGIO AGAIN.

Trip Type: With Friends Review 5 of 57Awesome Hotel
Hotel Adagio was a great place to stay! The staff was friendly and helpful. The rooms were clean, the beds were super comfy. The location was great. My only complaint (and it's not that much of a complaint, more of an annoyance really) is that our bathroom didn't have a fan. Other than that, we really enjoyed our stay and I would stay there again without hesitation.

Trip Type: With Friends Review 8 of 57Great inside, not so great outside
It's a fantastic hotel with gorgeous decor. Once you walk in the lobby it's very impressive. The only complaint I have is the moment you walk outside there could be a bum or seedy character passing by or hanging out. It's only about 5 block from Union Sq. and in the daytime it's no big deal. But if you take a cab, make sure to be dropped off in front of the hotel and not the corner. Not the hotel's fault though. If it were a better location, It would have 5 stars in my book!

Trip Type: With Friends Review 9 of 57amazing find
this by far is my favorite stay i have ever had. the rooms were huge and very comfortable. the staff was amazing. the hotel restraunt was outstanding. but there were so many other restraunts within 2 blocks from the front door, including a thai noodle bar i recommend. it is in walking distance from everything:shopping, parks, the warf, everything u would want to do or see when u dont have days to spend sightseeing.

Trip Type: With Friends Review 10 of 57Wonderful experience
We had a wonderful experience at this hotel. The only complaints would be that the hotel restaurant and bar wasn't open for dinner and the staff didn't tell us that they served a continental breakfast so we missed it. But other than that, it was a great stay.

Trip Type: With Friends Review 11 of 57Spacious rooms
For the money, the Adagio has large well appointed rooms. The rooms are comfortable and clean. Our party had one queen/queen room and one junior suite and the additional price for the suite was not really worth it as the queen/queen seemed to be same size. The restaurant and parking are expensive in relation to the price of the room.

Trip Type: With Friends Review 12 of 57Great for the rate we received
The hotel was nice and it was in a good location. The rooms were larger than anticipated and the beds comfortable. The only complaint...we stayed two nights and I only saw the coffee/tea service once...on the morning we left. Not sure where it was hidden the other days.

Trip Type: With Friends Review 14 of 57GREAT location, price - everything!
I travel to San Fran often & have stayed in a few hotels there, this hotel was by far the best all-around. GREAT location - it is just a 5 minute walk to the tourist stuff - Union Square, market street, trolley cars, etc. It's RIGHT next to several great bars & clubs. It's also right next to a Walgreens, starbucks, and several great dining places (the breakfast place across the street is the best). There's also an enclosed parking garage next door to the hotel (about 30 per night w/ in&out ability - that's pretty good for san fran) - don't pay for the hotel valet (40+ per night & they park your car in an outside parking lot with very little supervision). Great price - especially for San Fran & the location of the hotel. The condition of the hotel was excellent - it was clean & decorated with a very modern feel. The rooms were fairly large as well as the bathroom. Free internet was a nice touch - I will stay at this hotel the next time I'm in San Fran.
