Trip Type: With Friends Review 1 of 12Great Value
We weren't expecting much for the rate, but we found it to be good; and combined with the rate, we thought it was great. We stayed one night after our friends left. Our room was a large basic comfortable room with a big sliding door and a large-mini fridge and a couch. It had a view of the courtyard garden and the ocean. The part of the island it's on is not the best, but being on the park, this seemed like it's one of the better properties in Kapa'a. Clean basic pool and hot tub with a good view of the ocean and beach which is about 200 feet through the grass lawn of the park. Seems like you could let the kids run in the park without a lot of worries. Overall, because of the rate, we said we could come back there even though it's in Kapa'a, versus the north or south shores. We're condo people, but were happy with our short stay and the lady at the front desk...she recommended a good burger place near the harbor.

Trip Type: With Friends Review 5 of 12There are 3 ResortQuests in Kapaa
We stayed at the nice ResortQuest for our first night and then booked online for two more nights for what we believed was a discount. We then tried to check in, and they couldn't find our reservation. It wasn't until I said something like "It's not like there's more than one ResortQuest in Kapaa" that the reservations person mentioned there was another one. We went to ResortQuest #2, and were told there's yet another one. We went to ResortQuest #3, and it was old, rundown and musty. Showers were unacceptable, and rooms in general were dirty. When booking, please beware that there are 3 - two of them are fantastic, but the ResortQuest Aloha Beach is the one to stay away from.

Trip Type: With Friends Review 7 of 12We Will Return!
Aloha Beach Hotel is an older hotel, but it is nice and we enjoyed our stay. The price was very reasonable and the staff was friendly. It was clean and comfortable. It's next to a park and beach. This is the second time we stayed there, and we will be back!

Loved the location. The view was great. This hotel provided a lot of info about Kanai that was very useful and interesting. The only thing we didn't like was the beds are a little hard...could use some improvment on that score.

Trip Type: With Friends Review 10 of 12Perfect for the Price
I was a little weary after reading some of the reviews and knowing that the hotel was undergoing renovations. However, I was very pleased with all aspects of the hotel. Our room was very clean and spacious, and we had an excellent view. The hotel was very quiet - there really was not a lot going on, and there were not a lot of people there. If you're looking for a place to sleep, while exploring the island, it's perfect. If you're the type of person that likes to park it at the hotel the whole time, you will be bored. The hotel is very centrally located - close to the north end and close to the south end, with lots of food, shops and beaches within minutes. I would definitely stay there again if the price stays low.
