Trip Type: Romance Review 1 of 35Outstanding Hotel
We were looking for a hotel close to home for a weekend getaway and the Langham was amazing! We were staying at another hotel several weeks ago and a guest recommended the Langham to us: we were not dissapointed. We chose a Lanai Room to be close to the pool. Our room was beautifully appointed and roomy. We especially enjoyed the luxurious Italian bedding - probably the most comfortable hotel bed we've ever slept in! We also appreciated the bath robes and a full array of toiletries. Our room was on the 2nd floor with a balcony and a view of the pool. On our next visit I think we would consider booking a room at pool level for the convience factor. The pool was the perfect temperature and a waiter arrived the minute our towels hit the lounge chair. We loved the large jacuzzi that was tucked away in a little cove adjacent to the pool area. Our only wish is that the pool area was located somewhere else on the property to provide more hours of sun. We enjoyed listening to a lively performance by Cafe R&B in the jazz lounge Sat nite and enjoyed a decadent Sun brunch. The Kobe beef sliders are not to be missed! The quality of the food was top notch and the service was 5 star every step of the way. We felt rested and refreshed after our stay and look forward to our next getaway! Highly recommended!

Not only will you love staying here. You will not want to leave... and when you do you will immediately thinking about how/when you can go back. We spent the weekend here for my wife's birthday and we were in awe the whole time!

A great hotel! First class service and amenities. One of the finest hotels in the Los Angeles area and one that I would stay at again.

Easily one of the nicest hotels my wife and I have ever enjoyed. Great service by employees who genuinely care about your comfort. Beatuful hotel with excellent decor. The grounds of the hotel are also beautiful. If you really want the full treatment, book a club room - well worth the cost. The only improvement I could recommend would be if they built a second pool just for kids. Other than that - perfection! I will be staying here again!

We loved our room. Had a slight problem with the bathroom not being totally clean, so we mentioned it and they made sure we were compensated in a small way. We wish the Sunday brunch would have cost less. It was really good though.

My husband surprised me with a trip along the coast of California. He out did himself with this resort selection! The Langham is set back in a beautiful and friendly housing community. You would never expect a hotel to be there. The service was excellent. The grounds were exquisite and it was so much larger than expected. If you suffer from allergies bring your meds! The entrance to the lobby was filled with beautiful flowers and their sweet aroma filled the walkway before you entered. It is a place for families and lovers. There were several weddings there and they rocked all night long at the reception. I never heard a sound once I got to my room. I enjoyed the peace and quiet but if you’re looking for night life activities you will have to drive to get to it. There is no identifiable guest parking. It's all valet and if you bring a car they are going to charge you for it so you might as well live it up. (Make them fill up your tank and wash your car, you'll get your money’s worth then.) The Langham is a girls dream come true and men will benefit from the treat!

My wife and I stayed at the Langham last weekend and it was fantastic. We stayed on the Langham Club level and that was a real treat. The concierge (Adina) and the food were great. It's worth the extra money. I recommend it highly.

It is definitely worth the extra money. Our concierge Adina was awesome. The room was fabulous and the food and drink presentations were great. My wife and I will be returning soon.
