Trip Type: Family Review 1 of 10Great location; friendly staff; too much noise til 3am
While the hotel is not a luxury one, it is clean and everything works well. Air conditioning would weaken every few hours leading to some "warmer" spells. The worst was the noise from the neighboring night clubs which went on until 3am. I would not return.

Trip Type: Family Review 2 of 10Great Location
Location is perfect if you are looking for nightlife (English speaking). Dining is easy with many resturants close by. Close to undergroung city and Metro.

Trip Type: Family Review 4 of 10Very Noisy Hotel
There is small Bar in the Hotel Lobby. Every night, lots of people having dancing and drinking. Also on the top floor, there is another open bar. Every night there is party for young people. In the night whole hotel look like for party and very noisy. I don't think those people are hotel guests, but from the town. Don't expect any quiet vacation over there.

Trip Type: Family Review 5 of 10Perfect Location
This hotel was perfectly situated for our visit to downtown Montreal and the Jazz Festival. Easy access to the subway. The room was clean, large and comfortable. For those who want to party, there was lots of nightlife, including a disco off the lobby, but our room on the 8th floor was very quiet.

Trip Type: Family Review 6 of 10Excellent Hotel and location
Great hotel and location. The room was big with a nice big bathroom which had two sinks with shower and tub. Big thick oversized towels and bath robes. Very comfortable bed and pillows. Nice, affordable bars with a great staff. The food was good and reasonable. Hotel staff was very nice, courteous and helped us with local information. Our fear was the language since we do not speak French. Was never a problem and no one was offended that we didn't speak French. This was our first time to Montreal and when we go back we will go back to Hotel de la Montagne.

Trip Type: Family Review 7 of 10Great location, great room
If your looking for a great hotel in a central Montreal location this is it! Great night life and shopping all around and walking distance or a short metro ride to anywhere in the surrounding area. The room was updated and very clean, bathroom was modern but comfortable with a rain fall shower head and the bed was the best I've ever slept in! Private balcony with ever room, and 3 bar/restaurants in the hotel. Parking is available at the hotel and easily accessible when needed. Our first stay was for 3 nights then we traveled to the Laurentians & Quebec City and planning on one last night in Montreal before coming home, we looked for different hotels in the area and unanimously agreed that we wanted to stay here again for the comfort, price and location! Will definitely stay here again on our next trip!
