Wonderful Stay!

I really enjoyed the hotel stay, it truly is located in the heart of Virginia Beach. This is my 2nd stay here and I loved it. The room was clean and cozy. Rooms are oceanfront. Front desk was prompt with any concerns I had. The hotel has shops in it, and 2 restaurants that were convenient and tasty. We loved the beach area, the pool, etc. I would definitely recommend this hotel. It is a much older hotel, that could use some more renovations. The only place I felt like were air conditioned were the hotel rooms and the restaurants, the halls, etc. are very stuffy, humid and just plain uncomfortable. But overall, very satisfied with the stay.

Good Choice

This was a nice hotel with a beautiful view of the beach, however the balcony is a bit small. Everything is neat and clean even though it is clear that it is an older hotel. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. The pool area was good and there is a nice deck that is great for tanning when you don't want to be on the beach. I would stay here again.

Great Hotel... Even better location. Worth every dollar

A little bit older of a hotel but everything is still nice especially for the very reasonable rate. The hotel is right next to the amazing fishing pier and has a wonderful clean beach out front.

More Bang For Your Buck

Great hotel for the discounted rate I recieved. Wouldn't pay full seasonal price if I had the choice. Nice hotel right on the beach near plenty of shopping and restaurants. Friendly staff was a plus. Indoor pool is a little small but a must for the kids if the weather turns bad. Overall, a great stay if your on a budget like me. Would stay again if I could get the same deal.

Great oceanfront hotel

The staff are friendly, rooms are very clean and comfortable and plenty of shopping in the hotel. It is also right on the beach so the view and convenience can't be beat!

Travel for work a lot.

Just for a weekend get away.The Sandcasle is great for the price. It is a older beach front hotel. As of all beach front hotels there is all ways room for touch up.The room was clean,comfortable beds. A great view of the water. Overall it was fine.

Great room for the money

Hotel is old but kept up very well and is very clean. For the rate best buy. Is located in the heart of VA. Beach.

a great place to stay

I really loved " The Galley" restaurant located in the hotel. Ummm the seafood buffet rocked!And the staff was every bit courtious and always smiled.
