Trip Type: Business Review 1 of 11Good for the price
Have stayed here and The Seagull now this summer. Both are fine oceanfront hotels for those on a budget. Anyone used to 4 and 5 stars i wouldnt recommend. Close to the pier and carnival

Trip Type: Business Review 2 of 11Dirty, smells bad, run down
I was not expecting much, its a beach hotel but what I got was horrible, first room was filthy, beds had sand in them indicating the sheets had not been changed, they did move me to another room next door, it did have clean sheets on one of the beds, the other only had a bottom sheet. The blankets are gross, if you walk on the floor without shoes your feet tum black. The hallways smell like mildew. the bathroom was clean. I was here on business, for a beach vacation I would spend a few extra dollars and go somewhere else.

Trip Type: Business Review 4 of 11Great location, great value
This hotel is right on the boardwalk by the fishing pier. Great location for easy access to the beach. The Greek restaurant downstairs is also very good. Continental breakfast in the morning was not up to par with other hotels in the area but the hotel staff were great and went the extra mile. I'd definitely stay there again.

The hotel has changed over the years and I must say not for the better. There was a very large group of kids staying at the hotel in which the hotel did not seem to have the means of dealing with. The halls were noisy at all hours. The rooms were dirty and really needs updating. The resturant probley one of the worst. It was not clean and it just seem like no one cared the food was nasty. We complained to the fromt desk several times about things but they never checked them out.

Trip Type: Business Review 6 of 11Great location, stale pillows
Hotel is a bit aged. The pillows smelled like they were old. Stunning view of the beach though.

Trip Type: Business Review 7 of 11Right on the beach
So great to open the sliding door and to hear the surf. Fresh salty air. Was nice to watch the sunrise while sitting on the balcony. Also fun to people watch. The air conditioner was a bit noisy but typical of most hotel room air conditioners. I didn't like the feel of the blanket on the bed... bottom of the line there.

Trip Type: Business Review 8 of 11OK room
The rooms are very small. This is an older hotel, but it is ok for what you pay. The "private" balconies are not so very private, you can see and be seen from surrounding balconies. I would not recommend it for a long term stay or for more than 2 people. However, for 1-2 nights it is ok.

Upon first look the hotel is old and worn. Our room was on the first floor. Sounds easy, right? No. From the parking garage you take the elevator, but there is no first floor button. You go to "G" (ground). Then either change elevators to go up a half floor to 1, or walk up a half flight of stairs. The room itself was in fair condition, although there was dust in many areas like lamps, corners etc., and the bathroom was barely large enough in which to move. Also, unknown to us until after bed time, we were placed over the hotel laundry with the dryer vents (8 of them) directly outside our balcony. The clanking and roaring kept us awake most of the night. Not a place we wish to be ever again.

Trip Type: Business Review 10 of 11Great room for the money
Was told the room would contain 2 queen beds but only had 1 queen bed in the room.
