Great room for the money!

This hotel was wonderful! The staff was superb! It is an older hotel and it looks dated but was extremely clean and well kept up. It is right on the ocean and every room has an ocean view with a balcony! There is a restaurant in the hotel but it was overpriced and not that good. The indoor pool was great! We were a little disappointed that there was no hot tub because it makes a small reference to one but it is actually just a section of the pool and it wasn't hot. I would definitely stay again with my kids but if it was just my husband and I we would probably find a more updated hotel but for what we paid, it was perfect for a week at the beach!

great room for the money

All the staff we encountered at the hotel were very friendly and courteous. The room was clean and just the right size for us (2 adults and 1 child). The lobby, hallways, elevators, and pool were clean. There wasn't a microwave in the hotel room which we knew before we stayed there so it wasn't a big deal but we may could have used it (for leftovers). Great beachfront location one block from the Neptune statue and right beside the new Hilton hotel. Overall we were very happy with the service.

Good stay

Everything about the hotel was great, but the front desk staff didn't have the best customer service. Most of them seemed to hate their job, but other than that. I loved it. I would stay there again.

GREAT ROOM FOR THE MONEY

The hotel was very comfortable and clean. Most of the personnel were very friendly and helpful. Overall for the price and location this hotel was a great place to stay and I would recommend to a friend.

Outstanding Service for Family of Four

Very nice Hotel. Beautiful view of the ocean. Enough room for 4. The bathroom is a little bit small, but very clean. The beds were comfortable and the rooms were nice with a microwave, coffee maker and refridgerator. My kids loved it. The pool was nice and clean and had a hot tube connected too it. The TV did not have many channels, but I didn't go to the beach to watch TV. The balcony was wonderful!! Virginia Beach is so beautiful with a nice boardwalk. For the price this was wonderful. We felt very safe and the staff was excellent. Lots of stuff to do nearby... Will definetly go back.

Nice Stay

Need serious improvement

Did not have a good experience at this hotel to the point that we left one day early. there were many things to our dissatisfaction: The carpet was awefully dirty and discolored. Didn't dare taking our shoes off. The bathroom fan was the same switch as the light and it was so loud you wouldn't dare turning it on in the middle of the night. There is no closet for your clothes, just a small area to hang your stuff. The restaurant was closed. The beds had some sort of wrapping plastic casing that made disturbing noise as you moved in bed. The staff were fine. The only positive thing about this hotel was the indoor pool for the kids. All hotels in that area are Oceanfront. So that was not a "plus". Overall very disappointing hotel. Will certainly not stay there again.
