Good but not great

Furniture was a bit old and worn and there was not much of it in the room. Pool area is great. Best food is in the deli. Parking at $18 per day is way off base and undisclosed until you get there.

Awesome location but unexpected additional charges

Rooms were comfortable and clean. Restaurants in hotel had a variety of food choices. Only downside paying for parking daily and internet surcharge.

Its an ok hotel

It is an "OK" hotel. The rooms and facilities were adequate. The general appearance of the property seemed a little tired.

Staff was very nice rooms were not

Rooms could have been a little cleaner you know dust in the corners stuff like that but the proximity to the beach was awesome, and the heated pool was also great

Bahia Mar

The staff was friendly and accommodating (we had three couples and they put us all near each other on the same floor.) We walked to dinner, nightlife, the beach and most importantly, the boat we brought and kept in the marina. The rooms are spacious, comfortable bedding, have a balcony (but not more than a walk-on.)

Great room for the rate.

The only complaints I really had about our stay was the parking fee, and when you check in even if room is pre-paid they request a credit card for "incidentals" just in case you use room service, order movies, etc. and place a hold on it for a couple of hundred dollars. But really those are minor. The hotel was very nice, beautiful view from our oceanfront room, nice location. Restaurants & shopping within walking distance.

Great hotel for the money

This is a great hotel for the money. Right across the street from the beach. Room was big and clean.

I went to stay for the weekend with the goal of finding a hotel with a great location, accommodating amenities, and a fair price- Bahia Mar is just that. If you are looking for something upscale, the is not the place. But its very clean, offers a gift shop, restaurant/bar, pool with a bar, fitness center (which is very small), and a sky walk over Ocean Ave for easy and safe beach access. This area of the beach is clean and nice- not overcrowded. The hotel is an easy 2 block walk to shops and restaurants on the beach, and a only a few blocks beyond that is Las Olas Blvd where there are many stores, restaurants, bars, and clubs. There is onsite parking (which you must pay for), and the hotel has a fairly large parking area. I would stay there again for a few days because of the fair price and the great location/beach access, however if you are more concerned with the hotel itself than the area/price, there are better places within a few blocks.

Location, location, location

The view of the ocean from our room in the tower was amazingly beautiful. Everything we wanted was close by, shopping, dining, night life...all mostly within walking distance. Hotel staff was friendly & helpful. Hotel restaurant was pricey, but food was very good. I plan to stay here again!!

Excellent Hotel

This was an excellent hotel in a very convenient location. The personnel was very friendly and helpful and made our stay very pleasant.
