Trip Type: Business Review 1 of 16Staff
The first night my room was so-so, so I asked to switch rooms. The manager was extremely nice and switched my rooms to a very nice room with an ocean view, at no extra charge. She was committed at taking care of the guests. Just for that, I would recommend this hotel to anyone, as the staff takes care of their guests well.

Trip Type: Business Review 2 of 16Great Rooms, Great Price
The Aqua Waikiki Wave had beautifully rennovated rooms with comfortable beds and nice linens. The area is very convenient, only a block away from the beach. Be ready for a crowded lobby and small parking garage if you are driving, but overall it was a great deal for the money. I will return!

Trip Type: Business Review 5 of 16Good Economy and Location
For the price, this hotel is a great bargain considering it's proximity to Waikiki Beach and surrounding stores. The next time I'm in town, I'll probably use this same hotel again.

Trip Type: Business Review 6 of 16Needs lots of improvement
The Hotel does have lots of noises during night time, and they weren't friendly at all during our staying in this Hotel, they don't have any elevator from basement to the other floor and we have to use the steps, and more and more...

Trip Type: Business Review 7 of 16Right in the middle of Waikiki
The Aqua Waikiki Wave is on Kuhio Street right in the middle of Waikiki. It is directly adjacent to the International Market and within a couple blocks of the beach. The cost is low compared to other hotels I researched and you get good value for the cost. I was actually upgraded when I arrived late so they do take care of you. Just note that the parking is limited at the hotel but there is parking immediately adjacent to the hotel that can be used. Be sure to get a room on the higher floors to get over the noise of the market. They are a bit more expensive but still a great value.

The one problem I had was surrounding noise from party nighters. It interrupted my sleep

Trip Type: Business Review 12 of 16Very loud at night!
Hotel is in a great location close to Waikiki Beach but if you want a good night's sleep do not stay here! The noise from surrounding bars is very noticeable even on the upper floors. Also, the bathroom was very small and was not as clean as I would have liked it to be.

Trip Type: Business Review 13 of 16LOVE LOVE LOVE THIS PLACE!!
SOOOOOOOO BEAUTIFUL!!!! I loved it here...it is literally right next to International Marketplace...and sooo close to the beach. They upgraded me to a one bedroom suite upon arrival for the same price...just because!! It was so large and so beautiful! Last trip to Hawaii I stayed at the Pagoda in downtown Honolulu...and it was NOTHING compared to this. The price is very comparable but nothing close to the experience. STAY HERE!!!!! :))

Trip Type: Business Review 14 of 16Good room for the money, location questionable, not recommended for families.
The hotel and room itself was well kept and the service was great. The two downsides were the location and the parking. You are located right downtown on Kuhio which is great if you are young and/or still want to live the Fraternity life. I found it to be very loud, but I was on the second floor. For families, definitely demand a top floor or a different hotel. Also, the parking is terrible unless you park you car before 6PM. I sat for over an hour in the overflow waiting for my car to be parked.
