Good Location - Good Pool

We thought the hotel was excellent, providing a good location and a good pool. There are some surrounding vacant fields that need attention, but this isn't the hotels problem.

Great hotel for the money

Very nice and clean inside. Great service, they let us change rooms when we requested. It's right next to the Fashion Mall, so great for anyone who loves shopping. I believe the entire hotel is non-smoking. There is no casino in the hotel.

Big rooms, can hear road and train noise

We stayed Nov 1 2009 in a studio which is big. bathroom has a large jetted tub, big shower and TV in the mirror. there is a bed and a sitting area with a couch and 2 chairs. Plenty of closet space, nice room. The window vents did not close properly so the sound of the traffic and train was very loud. Unlike the Encore where there is a remote by the bed for lights and curtains, not so at Trump. Every light and the curtains where manual. The pool is small and there is no locker room to change in. I liked the non-smoking policy in the entire hotel, this is why we choose it, not sure if we will again unless we get a killer deal!

OUTSTANDING HOTEL

Excellent hotel; very elegant without being pretentious.Totally non-smoking and non-gaming.

No Casino

Although it is nice to come back to a quiet room, I missed there not being a casino in this hotel. My husband wanted to turn in early, and I either had to go back to the casino-less hotel with him, or return later by myself. Also, perhaps this is a new hotel, but many little things didn't work; the jacuzi, a light, the "magic mirror" in the bathroom - just little things.

Lack of customer service

Pros: -Got a great price -Has a kitchenette in each room -T.V. in the bathroom -Non-smoking Cons: -absolutely NO customer service/hospitality -stained sheets -used coffee filter in coffee maker upon arrival -windows dirty -shower door broken -water takes forever to heat up in shower -bathroom missing towels upon arrival -hair dryer thrown in cabinet, not wrapped and put away upon arrival -restaurant: salt shaker cracked, crumbs all over the booth Basically, this hotel was worth it because of the money. However, it did not live up to the Trump name. There was a complete lack of customer service and hospitality. We had just gotten married a few days before (at the Ritz in Henderson) and no one seemed to care. Not that I expected anything but at least they could say congratulations or be a little bit grateful that we decided to spend our first week as man and wife in their hotel. We would not stay at this hotel the next time we visit Vegas. I would rather pay more money and stay at a hotel that is detail oriented.

Great Value

Spent 5 nights at the Trump and enjoyed every one. Great value for the money with outstanding room and hotel. Had to call roomservice with minor problems twice and was suprised that it was promptly corrected within 5 minutes WOW!! Only negative for some people might be that without a car, you will have to walk about a block to the strip. No problem for us and the walk helped work off some of the buffets!!
