Trip Type: Romance Review 1 of 134Excellent customer service
The hotel is in the Ritz-Carlton Building and you share facilities. The staff was wonderful and answered all of our questions. They were very friendly and always greeted us when we returned to the hotel. The room was quite large and comfortable. You were far enough off Bourbon Street that there was not noise.

Trip Type: Romance Review 2 of 134Needs Improvement
When we arrived at the hotel to check-in, it took almost 10 minutes for an employee to come out of the back and help us to check-in. We got to our room, unpacked a few items and went to grab a bite to eat. When we returned to our room, it became apparent to us that the room was not fully cleaned before our stay. For example, the side tables had fresh drink rings on them, indicating that a beverage had been thrown away but the table had not been wiped down. When in the bathroom, we noticed the previous guest's chewing tobacco sitting on an unused towel, indicating that if the towel had not been disturbed, it had not been changed. Because it was very late and we were waking up very early the next morning, we just dealt with this and went to bed. When we got into bed (which happened each night of our stay of Friday-Sunday nights), we could hear people talking on the street below and car radios playing as they drove by, as if we were down on the street with these people. Due to this obscenly loud noise, we did not sleep well during our entire trip. Additionally, each time we walked through the lobby (which smelled so strong of amonia that you could not breath through your nose), the front desk people did not exchange friendly banter and appeared to be annoyed when you would ask a question. The breakfast in the mornings was not very good and we only participated in that once. Overall, based on the reputation of the establishment, we were extremely disappointed with the hotel, the personnel (except the bellhops, who were very nice) and the cleanliness. We would not recommend this hotel to anyone and intend on staying at a different hotel during our next trip to New Orleans.

Trip Type: Romance Review 3 of 134Blood Stained Mattress and Cold Room Service =(
Subpar! Bathtub had cracks and spots where the porcelain was rubbed off. Shower tiles had holes and cracks. Mattress had a big blood stain on it. Room service was awful. We waited 45 minutes for cold food and onions all over my husband's food even though they were instructed that he is allergic to them. The Ritz should be ashamed to put their name on this food - it was bland and soggy! We won't be back!

Trip Type: Romance Review 4 of 134Substandard
Considering this hotel boasts an affiliation with the Ritz Carlton that resides next door, I definitely expected a much better experience. Other than the location and proximity to Bourbon Street, I was extremely disappointed. The bathtub ceramic was worn out in spots and the were holes and cracks in the walls of the shower. The mattress had large blood stains on it. And room service was a joke. They charge a fortune and bring you cold, bland food. When I ordered I made it clear that my husband is allergic to onions and can't have them anywhere in his food. His breakfast arrived covered in onions. If you are looking for a clean room in great condition, look elsewhere.

Trip Type: Romance Review 5 of 134LOVED the Iberville Suites!
We stayed at another big chain hotel earlier in the week then moved to Iberville Suites. Location was perfect! One block off Boubon, which was great but still close enough to all the great restaurants and walking distance to everything. The hotel staff was great! We will definately book our next stay at Iberville Suites when visiting NO.

Trip Type: Romance Review 6 of 134good hotel for the price we got
Valet guys are the first to greet you and they are awesome....super friendly and made our stay much more pleasant. Overall I dont have any major complaints other than the pool (or lack of) there is a resistance pool in the ritz spa but not an outside swimming pool.

Trip Type: Romance Review 7 of 134Excellent Value
Located on the same property as the Ritz Carlton, our room was quite large and perfect for a romantic weekend getaway. The room furniture was a bit dinged up (we guessed it was old Ritz stuff they moved to the other property) but otherwise was an outstanding investment for the money. And hey, they have a wafflemaker in the lobby that comes with the free breakfast...but you have to make it yourself. This hotel is one block off Canal and 2 off Bourbon...perfect for when you want to be there and quiet enough when you don't.

Trip Type: Romance Review 8 of 134Great location and a great hotel
If you want to be close to all the action, music and food, then this is the place to stay. Walking distance to everything and if you want to go to the fresh market, it is a short cab ride away! The hotel staff was great and the spa is heavenly. You can't miss with this hotel!

Trip Type: Romance Review 9 of 134Great Hotel
We stayed in this hotel on a Monday & Tuesday nights & it was very quiet. Room was very clean & had everything we needed. The location is great. Extremely short walk to tons of bars & restaurants as well as Bourbon St. We even walked to the WWII museum, which was only about a mile. CVS & Walgreens are also only a couple blocks away.

Trip Type: Romance Review 10 of 134Great Hotel
The hotel was nice, comfortable, and quiet but the street wasa blocked so we could not enter the street to drive up to the hotel. We ended up parking on a paid parking lot a block away. When we were finally able to move our car, the hotel would not wave the overnight parking fee. We had already paid $35 to park on the parking lot for 30 minutes while we got someone to let us enter the roadway to the hotel. Other than parking problems, the stay was great.

Trip Type: Romance Review 11 of 134Excellent Stay, Loved this Hotel
We were delighted with this hotel. Our room was spacious and included a sitting room in the front, separated from the main bedroom by a door, which made the room much more comfortable since we had our infant son in a crib in the sitting room. The staff was very friendly, courteous, and accommodating. The only thing we did not like about the hotel was the lack of a swimming pool. In the spa, there is a resistance pool for exercise, but there was no regular pool for casual swimming.

The facilities were beautiful and well maintained; the service -- especially the bell staff -- was outstanding. Bourbuon Street was a block away.

Trip Type: Romance Review 15 of 134Nice Upgrade
We were upgraded to the Ritz-Carlton because the Iberville was overbooked. It was a very nice hotel with great service. The only problem was with the maid service. The cleaners stole some items from our toiletry bags. A little disappointing for an otherwise great weekend.
