Trip Type: With Friends Review 1 of 14Great Antique
If you like antiques and old-style hotels this is the place for you. The bathroom is very modern and looks brand-new, and our room had a flat-screen TV, great AC and other modern amenities despite being in such an old place. Very quiet neighborhood although it is a quick and easy walk to all the restaurants and shops of the "Miracle Mile". The staff at the front desk were exceptionally helpful and friendly.

Trip Type: With Friends Review 4 of 14A trip back in time
Overall we were satisfied with our stay. Our main reason for staying was the hotel's location to a friend who lived near-by and the short (drive) distance to Coconut Grove. If you're into antiques, I would recommend this hotel (the elevator is cool!). My ONLY "gripe" about the hotel was the key system in place to enter you room. My recommendation to the staff/owner would be looking into the "card entry" system.

Trip Type: With Friends Review 8 of 14Great place to socialize & party
If you're looking to socialize & go out w/ fellow travelers, this hostel is completely ideal. They have something organized EVERY NIGHT of the week for guests to go out to, mostly clubs, sometimes lounge bars. The group of guests during my stay were all super cool & fun to hang with.

Trip Type: With Friends Review 10 of 14Two Thumbs Up for this Historic Gem
This charming and elegant little historic inn is within walking distance of everything there is to do in Coral Gables. It is well run, immaculately kept, and the staff is very friendly and helpful. The restaurant in the hotel, Chef Innocent, is world class and their Sunday brunches with unlimited champagne and live music is an outstanding bargain. This inn has become my regular weekend get away. If you prefer independent hotels that are chocked full of charm and history, this is Miami's best spot. Coral Gables is itself a great place to hang out and Miami's most elegant district. It is only a 10 minute drive to any other fun spot in Miami (South Beach, Coconut Grove, Design District, Winwood, etc.)

Trip Type: With Friends Review 13 of 14Nice Location for the price
St. Michel is located only 3 or 4 blocks away from the Miracle Mile. Lots of shopping and great places to eat within walking distance. Rooms at the hotel have great antique furniture and comfortable beds- lots of character. If you happen to be one of the few early risers in Miami on a weekend morning, don't expect to get breakfast at the hotel- it didn't seem like they were serving breakfast Saturday morning and Sunday the brunch starts at 11 am. You are better off walking down the street to the Westin's restaurant or to Starbucks.
