great roof pool

i booked this hotel last minute and got an incredible good deal on it. loved the rooftop pool and the very good service. the hotel is old but in a clean and stylish way.rooms are a bit in the smaller side. convinient to walk to the french quarter.

Beautiful Place

Everything was perfect. The service, the room, the food, etc... This is a great hotel to experience New Orleans in. :)

Great historic hotel

We enjoyed our stay in New Orleans so much, we extended our stay an extra 2 days. There are many fine hotels in New Orleans, but I have to say none nicer. Outstanding service from a friendly staff, nice rooms and ammenities and great food made our choice to Stay at Le Pavillion a memorable one.

Parking issues

The hotel was very beautiful and the staff went out of the way to insure patron comfort. The morning we were to check out a piece of paper appeared under the door and we received a bill for parking which was not anticipated. They charged approximately enough that we could have spent another night! Make sure you check into parking fees before you plan a trip!

Excellent Hotel

Le Pavillon was conveniently located and within walking distance to the casino, the French Quarter, and the streetcars. It was a quiet location and a beautiful hotel, perfect for a romantic getaway. The room was very clean and the hotel staff was very helpful and friendly. The in-room coffee maker was a nice bonus after a long night out in New Orleans. The hotel and its staff made our stay comfortable and enjoyable. The peanut butter and jelly sandwiches and hot chocolate at 10pm was a nice touch. We appreciated the umbrellas that the hotel provided since it rained during our stay. We will definitely stay at the Le Pavillon again and will refer our friends and family to do the same.

historically rich new orleans hotel

accomodating and comfortable...elegant yet simple...the peanut butter n jelly sandwiches with hot chocolate were a wonderful surprise on a rainy night

Outstanding Hotel

Friendly staff, great bar, rooftop pool was nice, big breakfast buffet, rooms were bigger than most, overall great experience.

Overpriced and Underserved

The hotel is nice, but not worth the price we paid. The service was mediocre throughout our 3 day stay. One example - the television never worked, and despite 3 separate complaints, including to the manager, all they would say was, "It's the cable company, there's nothing we can do, sorry." No empathy. In fact I felt like I was imposing on them to bring it to their attention. This was typical of our overall experience. For the price, try the Ritz-Carlton.

Wonderful hotel, great wait staff. Quiet even being right in the middle of town. Food was great!

Elegant Hotel

Le Pavillon Hotel is an outstanding place to stay. The service is excellent and the staff knowledgable not only about the hotel but the events and local sites. My stay there was very enjoyable.

Wonderful Stay

Excellent service. We especially enjoyed the rooftop pool and spa. The hotel was very conveniently located- a quick, easy walk to both the French Quarter and the rail line.
