Trip Type: Special Event Review 3 of 88Beautiful Hotel, excellent service
Our stay at Le Pavillon Hotel was outstanding. We're from NO, having moved this past Jan., so we were familiar with the area. The Crystal Room is one of the finest for their excellent lunch buffet. Service is outstanding. We weren't able to eat dinner there this time, but were able to get a mid-afternoon snack in the bar - terrific food and service. The 10 PM hot chocolate and peanut butter and jelly is so much more than ordinary! There are about 5 or more breads (and buns) offered for the peanut butter, plus some spreads if you don't want peanut butter and jelly. The hot chocolate is so rich and creamy, and is offered with miniature marshmallows and whipped cream. Can't say enough good things about the valet and front desk.

Trip Type: Special Event Review 4 of 88Beautiful hotel, super friendly staff
The hotel is absolutley beautiful, all of the staff was great-they act like they truly appreciate your being there. The food in the restaurant was great. The only issue we had was that we were not informed in advance of the $28 per day parking fee, but I would still reccomend this hotel, and we plan to return.

I would recommended the Le Pavillon to anyone. Everytime we were in the Lobby and went outside someone always acknowledged us or asked if they could help in anyway. The staff always went out of their way to help and say Good Morning or Good Evening. They would even ask if we would need directions any in the City. And at 10pm we enjoyed the peanutbutter sandwiches, milk and hot chocolate. Great stay!!!

The staff was very friendly; handled all things with a smile; actually acted like they were happy to be there, doing their jobs. The whole dining experiences were exquisite!! Food was wonderful and the service was excellent.

Trip Type: Special Event Review 8 of 88Best value in NOLA
Only minor complaint is that the walls are a little thin, and the pool was closed while we were there. However, the hotel was gorgeous and in walking distance from the quarter. The service was great, as well. Also,FYI, I researched every web site, and hotels.com had the best rate.

Beautiful pool. Lovely in every way. I was at this hotel last year and couldn't wait to come back. Helpful staff. A great experience.

We loved the PB & J sandwiches at 10 pm nightly! We actually made it our dinner two nights in a row. The rooftop pool was lovely. We'd stay here again.

Personnel are very helpful and true Southern hospitality. The hotel's atmosphere has the European flair and feeling. For a romantic dinner I suggest the Crystal Dining Room there in the hotel. The late night PBJ event is unexpected and very nice.

Trip Type: Special Event Review 15 of 88The Best in the City
Due to hotel overbooking, Hotels.com transferred us to Le Pavillon. The grandeur of the exterior pales in comparison to the lobby, the restaurant and the rooms of the hotel. My youthful memories of the Palace of Versailles were awakened by the ambience of the hotel. The beds were firm and comfortable, the bathrooms were small (as expected in an older building) but had a regal feel. We have stayed at many hotels in New Orleans while our son attended university and this is the best we have stayed at so far.
