Extraordinary view of the city

Hotel des Puys was a nice, clean typical French hotel. A little more spartan than American style hotels, but great location near TRAM stop, shops, patissieries, and boulangeries. There is even a 24-hour pharamacie located in the same square! In addition to being a very small room, the only real negatives are the ridiculously small shower and lack of CNN on the cable television. However, the jewel of this hotel is the view from the top floor. From this vista, you can see beautiful views of the city, the landmark cathedral and the surrounding volcanic mountain tops, the "puys". Breakfast guests are treated not only to a great meal, but also a feast for the eyes with this unique view of the city.
