The Dai-Ichi is a great transition to Japan if you are a first time visitor and have just stumbled off the 12-14 hour flight from the states. The hotel is western-styled so you have a chance to ease your transition into the Japanese culture. The staff were very excellent and quite helpful. I had lost my cell phone on the airport bus and they helped me to track it down and get it back. They even delivered it to my room for me! That's service

Wished i would have stayed here for my entire Tokyo stay. Located less than 5 min from Yurakucho JR Station (1 stop from Tokyo main station) and huge shopping in Ginza. Try the Soup Stock for amazing soups or Tully's for better than Starbucks coffee..both located within minutes from hotel.

Recently stayed at the Ginza Dai-Ichi Hotel, the hotel staff was incredibly helpful and friendly; is in a great location just a minutes walk from Shinbashi station. Clean and well kept with lots of small perks to make your stay a heads above most hotels. Would definitely stay there again on our next visit to Tokyo.

I highly recommend this hotel. Its impressive amenities, staff, food, quality and practically everything this hotel had to offer made this trip comfortable. Dai-Ichi is a hotel I will always stay at next time I'm in Tokyo.

The hotel was very nice and the service was excellent. It was right next to the shimbashi station which was absolutely perfect for getting around not only Tokyo, but all of Japan. A few blocks from the hotel is the ginza shopping district which is full of high end shops. The only gripe was the 2000 yen daily charge to use the gym and pool.

We enjoyed our stay at the Dai Ichi Hotel very much. Clean spacious rooms, friendly, multi-lingual service, in a good location, near both high class shopping and affordable dinner and nightlife as well as easy access to public transportation. Breakfasts are expensive and fancy. Not worth the extra cash up front if you aren't on an expense account.
