Right in the middle of Ginza district. Outstanding service - will put to shame any Western hotel service. Beautiful large rooms (for Japanese standards) with more than expected amenities. Prices for restaurants in the hotel are a tad pricey. But VERY classy hotel!

Staff was very helpful, everyone was very tentative to our requests and helped us with directions. This hotel was perfect for my wife and I, who enjoy traveling and experiencing the culture. This hotel is walking distance to the Ginza where there is great shopping and to the Shimbashi station where you can catch a train or subway to anywhere in the city. I would highly recommend this hotel to my friends.

This hotel was abosultely fabulous. It is in an excellent location right next the subways. There is even a tunnel connection to the subway in the basement of the hotel. The area is safe and clean and we came in at all hours of the night with no worries. The staff is very friendly and helpful with all of your tourist needs. The rooms are clean and the beds were VERY comfortable. There is also a very convenient store across the street to get the basics (chips, sodas, beer, snacks, etc). We had a great time.

This is my second visit to the Dai-Ichi Hotel Tokyo, and I will return there on my next visit to Tokyo. The concierge staff is the best for obtaining assistance with language, maps, directions, and information about cultural attractions and market areas. 24 Internet access in the lobby on a work station provided by the hotel is both reasonably priced and high-speed. The hotel is conveniently located to many subway and train stations, another great feature.

This hotel is conveniently located near the Ginza district. It is also very close to the train station and a busy railroad. The railroad is very busy until the late hours. In fact, you can hear trains passing by the hotel as early as 5:00 am or as late as 1:00 am (20 hours a day).

The location is very convenient to many train and subway lines and the Ginza shopping area. The concierge desk is one of the finest in the world. Staff spent a lot of time with us to ensure our daily excursions went well and to assist us with language issues. Post card stamps are available for purchase in the lobby. High-speed Internet access on two workstations is available in the lobby 24/7 for a reasonable fee. The room was spotlessly cleaned each day. The L'Etoile restaurant in the lower level has a wonderful international buffet menu, and the 30 percent discount coupon obtained at check-in helped a lot. The hotel was willing to provide additional discount coupons, but for dinner use only. The only drawback to staying at this hotel is that there is no breakfast package in the pricing. Otherwise, the breakfast is very expensive for two people for multiple days. The many convenience stores located adjacent to the hotel offer more economical alternatives for purchasing breakfast items.
