Trip Type: Romance Review 2 of 14Good Downtown Hotel
We had a good stay. The hotel has a convienent downtown location. The room was comfortable. This is a business class hotel so the decor is not charming, but practical. There is a work out facility with pool and squash courts. My favorite part was the hotel spa: One hour massage for $78 canadian! The other services were reasonably priced for a hotel spa as well. My only complaint is that we could here everything going on in the hallway in the mornings (only a problem because we were on vacation and sleeping in late). Overall would return.

Trip Type: Romance Review 3 of 14Okay hotel- don't order room service
My husband and I stayed here for a night and it was okay;I have stayed at other hotels in which the value and experience was much better. It was clean, we didn't notice anything that was dirty. The staff was nice, however I have to say that there is nothing about the customer service that "wowed" me.... they answered my questions okay, but soon after I walked away, they would speak amongst themselves and stare. Not sure what that was about-- cultural thing maybe? Eh! It was a short walk from the underground shopping center- so that was a plus and there were eateries nearby as well. One thing I do warn you about- Do not order room service!!! Too expensive and crappy! We ordered a few drinks and when we received them, they tasted like water and the mix.... no alcohol. (Got a tummy ache!) We called and returned the drinks, and they came back and still tasted crappy.... Needless to say we spent about $40 or more on these crappy drinks. We didn't drink them! Waste of money.

Trip Type: Romance Review 5 of 14Love to stay there again
We upgraded to a Signature Club room for a reasonable charge (our choice, after reading reviews) upon our arrival, which included Continental Breakfast and Happy Hour daily (food and soft drinks included, alcoholic beverages were extra) and free unlimited Internet as well as free coffee and soft drinks 24 hours a day. Our room, on the 23rd floor was well appointed and maintained, with bath robes, flat screen TV, new furnishings and one of the most comfortable beds ever! Being on the 23rd floor, the view of Montreal was wonderful. The staff was extremely pleasant and were willing to help in any way. I'd love to go back to the Delta Montreal again!

Trip Type: Romance Review 6 of 14Great room for the money
This hotel was nice. The lobby and dining area as well as the rest of the amentities were great. I was a little bit disappointed in the room, I thought it would be bigger, but overall it was decent. It is within 5 min walking distance to St. Catherine Street. I 15 min walk to Old Montreal. And about a 15 min walk to Crescent Street. It was great because we could walk to all locations. Overall a nice hotel!

Trip Type: Romance Review 10 of 14Excellent location
Our room was on the 20th floor, and we were offered to upgrade for $30/night. I like a flat pillow, and couldn't sleep the first night. I asked, and got a flat pillow for the remainder of our stay. The staff was very helpful, although the concierge wasn't very computer literate. The location was excellent, with 2 metro stations close by. Almost everything is within walking distance anyway.

Trip Type: Romance Review 12 of 14Great room, great price, great hotel!
Got a great price for Montreal. Room was on the top floor and came with signature club access. Employess were friendly, helpful and more than happy to direct us to thier favorite hotels and nightclubs etc... The concierge got us reservations at hard to get into restaurants and popular attractions. It is located one block from Place Des Arts, two blocks from St. Catherine's St. and a 15 minute walk to Old Port. There are also two Metro stations within two blocks.

This hotel made our stay in Montreal very enjoyable. The hotel staff were very friendly and helpful. The hotel room was beautiful, very clean, quiet and comfortable. If you stay here, be sure to book a Signature Club room which includes breakfast and Happy Hour. I highly recommend this hotel in Montreal.

Trip Type: Romance Review 14 of 14A Nice Stay
My girlfriend and I decided on a whim to travel to Montreal for a Saturday evening from New Hampshire. A friend recommended this hotel and told us to reserve a "Signature" room. This put us at the 23rd floor - at the top of the hotel. Its location is close to McGill University and gave us easy access to shopping on St. Catherine Street; dining on St. Laurent Boulevard; and the Musée des Beaux-Arts. Parking was available in nearby lots on the cheap, but we decided to use the garage below the hotel for a respectable fee. The room was spacious and clean, with a very comfortable king size bed. Access to a small balcony via sliding glass doors gave us a view of the city. We also had access to the "Signature club" which offered complimentary hors d'oeuvres in the evening and continental breakfast in the morning. The staff was very hospitable and helpful and the hotel was well maintained. I will recommend this hotel to others.
