Needs improvement

The hotel is very well located in Montreal. The premium room was nicely sized, but had a very old carpet, which had numerous bunches. These could have been dangerous for tripping, etc. I've never seen this in a quality hotel. If the carpets were replaced it would be a big improvement.

BEST HOTEL IN MONTREAL

I am in Montreal once a month and always stay at the Delta. the staff is very helpful and the rooms are always clean. You really cant do better in Montreal.

Big Bang for your Buck

Was one of the cheaper hotels available in the area but it was not at all a "cheap" hotel. Staff was great, the bed was amazing, and room service was the fastests I've ever had. Highly recommend this hotel.

Huge rooms compared to other hotels in the downtown area.

Hotel was great! Unfortunately I parked my large truck about a mile away and it was stolen during the night. This doesn't say much about the town of Montreal.

Very good overall, but...

The hotel is very nice, clean, comfortable, and I would've rated it excellent across the board if it wasn't for one thing: I found two pairs of jeans that were forgotten in the room... I mean, I would understand some minor overlook from housekeeping, but to miss two pairs of jeans?! The restaurant and bar are awfully expensive.

Good Location for Montreal Explorations

The hotel is placed conveniently in walking distance to the convention center, the old Montreal down town, the new "downtown", and if you like it a little more challenging, Mont Royal is also in extended walking distance. The hotel is easily reachable from the airport by cab (flat rate: CAN 35). Two things I did not like that much: the bathroom was very dark and internet in the rooms is only via ethernet cable.

Dark and Noisy

While the hotel has a lot of potential, the single light in the bathroom did not provide enough lighting in the commode or shower areas. The lighting in the room was plentiful, but finding the switches for each individual lamp was tedious. Every time somebody opens or closes a door it echoes down the hall. While it was great to have the paper in the morning, it was a bit annoying to have it hit my door while I was trying to finish up my night's sleep, the same can be said for the bill that was slid underneath my door on my last morning. The carpets are getting a little threadbare and the bed coverings date back to the 70s, but hey if you're looking for a retro stay, this might be the place for you.
