Very Satisfied

For the most part this hotel was very nice. Check in time wasn't until 4pm, but we got there abour 2:30 and our room was ready so they let us check in. The room was exactly what was described. I wish I would have gotten a bigger room because the kitchen was kind of small for 3 adults and a child, but other than that it was a nice size room. Perfect for two people maybe a third. The only complaint I had was the bathroom had a bad odor when we got there. It smelled as if they mopped the floor with a sour mop/water. But I brough some Lysol and that cleared it right up. We had a wonderful stay at the resort and hope to be there soon again.

great vaccation spot

this was a weekend family getaway for us. The children were so excited to get such a large space, seperate bedroom instead of the usual pull out couch. Loved the hot tubs, heated pool, since we went in october, the view of the beach from the room and hearing the ocean waves crash on the beach during the night as your falling asleep was charming. Only downfall was that the washer/dryer combo they provide in room is very noisey so we would not suggest using at night.

Outstanding

The quality of the rooms was more than I expected! The rooms were beautifully furnished, sound proof, and the view was awesome from our balcony. We will definitely be staying there again!

Very good value

We found the studio suite to be very nice for the price. Good accomodations, clean, convenient to beach.

GREAT HOTEL AT A GREAT PRICE!!!!!

Room was very clean! Staff was outstanding and extremely friendly! Deffinetly would stay again!!!!

Perfect Off Season Beach Get Away

This condo-tel is located directly on the beach. All units (ranging from efficency to 3 bedroom) have a fairly decent ocean view, several are actually ocean front. We stayed in a 2 bedroom 2 bath corner unit on the 18th floor. Excellant unit. Far exceeded our expectations. Beautiful furniture, wonderful beds, exceptionally roomy, three balconies, three TVs, fully appointed full sized kitchen. This place was a condo, not just a hotel room, but with all the hotel features, daily maid service, roomservice, front desk consierge, etc. Pools were plentiful if a bit small and ordinary, with the ocean at your doorstep who needs pools. The restaurant associated with the resort, was mediocre and only servicable. We opted for other close by restaurants during our stay. We cannot recommend this place enough and for the price through Hotels.com we got an increadible deal at an off season (2nd week in Sept) rate. Weather and water were still warm and few people clogging up the beach.

Great Room for the Money...

The Room was great when we arrived, but upon further inspection there were stains all over the floor in the bedroom. The bathtub was very slow in draining. The only thing that we were not happy with is the fact the the washing machine was broken. This was one of the main reasons we stayed at Anderson. We did not discover that problem until the we were leaving. But all in all I would highly recommed this hotel to anyone, it was a very good experience.

Need to look past all the mayhem

Well when I first pulled up I was trying to figure out how I can get out of this reservation. Pulling under hotel is a madhouse and certainly not our kind of place. No where to unload people everywhere parking across street. I finally got to our room and it was like when Dorothy landed in OZ...The door opened and it was all in color Room was glorious...I have traveled the world and I enjoy nice places and things these rooms are fabulous. We had a 2 bedroom very very nicely appointed even the table ware was quality incredible view and ocean sounds. The pool and beach are very crowded and not our typical scene ,however, it was a nice fun atmosphere for families except for the attire of some of patrons...where do I start. Myrtle beach (or at least Anderson) must be the belly button ring center of the world..and lets face it their are maybe 10-12 woman in the country that can pull it off. 9 out of 10 had them...not your garden variety small hoop type this is the Liberace Chandelier types that hung down like something made in Murano or Corning Glass alot of these woman also appeared to be Biggest Looser applicants you get the picture. Anderson's layout does lend itself to large groups splitting rooms which could be trouble maintaining the newness and quality appointments. We did find Anderson staff very nice

Excellent place to stay!

We stayed in a two bedroom oceanfront room. It was AMAZING!!!! The quality and gold star service far exceeded our expectations. This was by far the best mattress I have ever slept on as well as the most comfy pillows. The beach front property was very clean and family friendly. I would highly recommend The Anderson to anyone going to Myrtle Beach. It was a gem of a find on hotels.com!

Outstanding Hotel

Loved that it was CLEAN and NEWER for Myrtle Beach. The room was so warm it felt like home and I'm very picky. We will return!!
