Choose this hotel

Well my boyfriend and I decided on a short vacation (mid October) and I chose this hotel based on others reviews (yes I read every review). After driving 11 hours from NYC we were hoping the hotel was I had read. We called about 3 hours before arrival to request a higher room and to let them know we were running a little late. When we arrived to the area of the hotel, it was clear where our hotel was, its beautiful!!. we pulled in and we were greeted right away and shown where the lobby was. As we were checking in the receptionist was very polite and made us feel very welcome (Everyone there made us feel like they were very happy we were there). We were granted our request of a higher floor. The decor is modern and classic, the hotel is super clean. (and quiet during the school season) Upon entering our room, it was great to see a clean well spaced room. The room is a replica of a studio ( not a NYC studio..lol)... we had a kitchen, a washer and dryer, a well spaced restroom, we had a great partial ocean view and a great partial city view. The bed we super comfortable and clean. There is only one little thing, they don’t have inside parking, you have to park around a miniature golf that is directly across from the hotel or inside their garage across the street; they can also valet park your car. But since we are New Yorkers we don’t mind walking, they do let you unload in the hotel garage and then you can move the car. Please note this is not the only hotel that does that, there are many others in this area that do the same thing with the parking. The hotel has 4 small pools, not bad but I am sure it can get crowed in the summer. This hotel is close to many amenities. It's kids friendly. We had a blast and the hotel crew was helpful when we had any questions. We highly recommend this hotel

Everything was great. The view from the balcony was fantastic.

Very Roomy and Nice Hotel

We rented a unit with a full kitchen, living area and one bedroom. We were very pleased get an ocean view room. The balcony was a little small. Would just fit maybe three people. The hotel is on the beach which is very nice. Parking is across the street in a garage. Not too convenient. They do offer valet service for an additional daily fee. We were able to check-in early, which was very nice of them.. as we were only staying one nite and wanted to enjoy the property. You must get your towels from the font desk. FYI.

confusing check-in procedure

The hotel needs an intelligent and articulate person to greet guests when they drive in, and to explain the check-in procedures. We sat in a line of cars, unsure where to go or how to handle luggage.

Outstanding Hotel!

My husband & I really enjoyed our stay here. The accommodations were great and we didn't mind crossing the street for the parking lot. I'm glad I listened to someone's suggestion to bring a few extra pans for cooking - like a good pan to cook eggs. We liked being further up Ocean Blvd. so that we weren't in the heart of some of the busier and noisier attractions. Our complaints were minor: the pools are small and you can't even sit on the lounge chairs near the pool after it closes. All in all, I would highly recommend the hotel and I would definitely stay here again.

The Hotel, staff and location were all excellent...the went out of their way to please...it is by far the nicest hotel in Myrtle beach and the price from hotels.com was great

Very Comfortable Accomodations

Our family was very pleased with the Anderson. The 3 bedroom accomodated everyone with great bathrooms and spacious bedrooms. The mattresses were great but the pillows could stand some improvement. The valet parking is the way to go and usually efficient. The place could have used a larger pool but that was not a deal breaker. Overall a good place for a family vacation

Anderson Ocean Club & Spa..alais..Heaven on Earth

We arrived later than expected,and the staff was friendly. They provided directions via telephone,and they guided us to the location. This is our third year going to Myrtle Beach,and we still get lost going. The room was the clean,and it was really upscale.I didnt like the price,but when i entered the room. I was impressed,and i felt the price was well worth it.I felt like royalty at this hotel.I couldnt find a bug anywhere.I never saw the maids,but when we returned to the room. It was clean enough to eat off the floor.The Anderson Ocean Club & Spa is the best hotel on the island. The lobby,hallways,and pool areas were clean.The pool area was full of kids,and kids can dirty a area fast.I saw a kid drop a spoon near the pool,and then i saw a staff member quickly pick it up. I saw them in the unloading area picking up items that should have been put in the trash. The Anderson Ocean Club & Spa Staff take pride in keeping the hotel clean. The Bed and pillows were like sleeping on air.The facility is well built because you couldnt hear other people in their rooms. other hotels feel as if your in the room with the other guest due to thin walls.The parking area is kept well clean. They have video cameras all over the facility and parking area. I felt as if i was at the White House. Safety and keeping the place clean is their top priority.I will return to Myrtle Beach South Carolina cause of the Hotels like the Anderson Ocean Club & Spa!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
