Trip Type: Family Review 1 of 108Long wait at check out.
Over 20 minutes waiting in line to check out. Had a beautiful view which they upgraded after requesting at checking. Way to go Sheraton on the in room Starbucks coffee. We also enjoyed the diner but waited extremely long for everything to get served, over an hour. My daughter fell asleep waiting for the dessert which she never got to try. Remember you pay to park$$.

Trip Type: Family Review 2 of 108Don't Be Fooled!
When we pulled up to the gorgeous, grand lobby of the Sheraton Marine Tower, a crisply uniformed door man greeted us and promptly informed me that we were booked for the Sheraton Bay Tower, but not to worry, because the Bay Tower "has larger rooms and a better view." When we got to the Bay Tower, a third of a mile away, a less crisply uniformed valet told us, "the rooms are 30% larger, it's quieter and the veiw is better." I was apprehensive, because the lobby was obviously not as nice. What a rip off! The rooms are larger and the view is great, but the hotel is ancient, the decor is crappy, the only free wireless is in the lobby, which accounted for the huge crowd of briefcase people in the lobby. I ended up paying $12 for the pleasure of having in room internet access. I had booked the spa package, but the front desk knew nothing about it, and the spa knew nothing about it. After 5 phone calls and 2 visits to the front desk, they finally figured it out. By then, I said, "forget it", because the spa was a third of a mile away in the Marina Tower! Also a third of a mile away in the Marina Tower was the Starbucks, and the supposedly wonderful restaurants. The next morning, at breakfast in the lounge, we were directed to a stainless steel counter on which to check the boxes on the menu order cards. We were not allowed to sit down until we completed our order cards and handed them to the waiter, who entered it into the computer and then, finally, showed us to our table. Not sure why the silly forms can't be filled out while sitting at the table. It was just all very strange. If you book the Sheraton San Diego, make sure you are in the Marina Tower!! Do not let them trick you into going to the Bay Tower, it's not a nice hotel!

Trip Type: Family Review 3 of 108Watch for hidden charges!
We stayed for 3 nights to take advantage of the discounted rate. However, this rate does not include an outrageous per day parking fee, if you self park! Who knows what Valet was. If you don't stay in the hotel, you can validate your parking ticket for 1/2 off, but not if you are a guest. Also, this is the first hotel I've stayed in that does not offer free Wi-Fi in the room. You had to pay for every 24 hours, or you can go down to the lobby for free. Very inconvenient and not at all what I would expect from a 4 star hotel. The overall service and friendliness of the staff was great. But I will not stay here again.

Trip Type: Family Review 5 of 108"Great Hotel but parking needs improvement"
I loved this hotel but the parking lot needs improvement. The pool was nice but could not find dry towels. The beds and pillows were very comfortable. People were very nice and friendly. Would stay there again, if the price is right.

Trip Type: Family Review 6 of 108bad...hated it
Sorry for the quick review, but I just wrote a very lengthy review and it was lost. I hated thi hotel. be careful of the hidden charges, parking is very expensive and its for a dirt lot. dont open the minibar, they charge you everytime the door opens ontop of a cleaning charge, even if its not used.

Trip Type: Family Review 8 of 108Nice hotel
Room was nice. We did find a used bar of soap in the shower and the bathroom was a little small. Did not like the mini bar set up because there was no other room to put your own water bottle or breastmilk in my case. They wanted to charge 15 dollars per night for another fridge to store our personal food items/breastmilk which was a little much. Service was excellent in all areas.

Trip Type: Family Review 9 of 108wonderful hotel to stay in
The hotel was very clean and comfy. The rooms are definently smaller than the pictures but are still nice. We enjoyed are stay at the hotel. The veiws are breathtaking, and the locations is wonderfull. The resturants though, are way overpriced, so do not recomend eating there. I would definently return.

Trip Type: Family Review 14 of 108Great location and nice accomodations
Stay in the Marina Tower! Excellent pool, jaccuzzi, rooms with a view and quality Sheraton campus. Convenient to Ocean Beach, Sea World, SD Zoo, Airport, Downtown, Highway 5 and Loma Point. Great Starbucks downstairs and an array of dining. Rooms have flat screens, balconies and quiet AC! Great beds and a beautiful lobby for hanging out. There is even a game room with WEI, ping pong and billiards. Excellent gym with towels and state of the art equipment. Spa services as well.
