Trip Type: Business Review 2 of 64Great location/Excellent Customer Service/Very Nice Room
This was a great hotel, very close to SAN airport, but did not feel like an "airport hotel". It was beautful inside and the rooms were clean, comfortable and quite & updated.

Trip Type: Business Review 4 of 64Nickel and Dime
This hotel nickel and dime you for everything. Parking fees - $22 per night - should be free for guests. Internet is not free unlike all other hotels, TV channel selection is less than basic cable, no refrigerators in the room, and no coffee in the lobby.

Recent renovations were much needed and enjoyed. Great surroundings for an airport hotel!

Very nice hotel for the price, close to the airport, nice pool area and workout facilities. Need a car or taxi to go downtown. Shuttle available from the airport.

Trip Type: Business Review 7 of 64Pricey Parking
There are 2 Sheratons next to each other, I went to the wrong one at first but was immediately redirected by the bell staff. This is a beautiful hotel with a friendly, helpful staff and a gorgeous view on either side, with the added benefit (in the summer) of seeing the Sea World fireworks on the Marina side. Wish they would have told me when I made the reservation that the parking was so expensive--I could have gotten it reimbursed. Also, they first tried to put me into a room with an ice machine next to the wall. If you don't know how much noise ice machines make and the ungodly hours at which people decide they need ice, just try sleeping in a room near an ice machine. Another thing, they charged me for a mini-bar purchase that I didn't make. Of course, they cheerfully refunded it, but it brings up 2 important points: 1. Don't overcharge for parking. You need to charge enough, obviously, to keep parking spaces available for the hotel guests. But you want to attract guests who own cars--guests who arrive by hitchhiking or wheeling a shopping cart shouldn't be your target clientele. 2. Be careful not to make billing errors. It's not about the money (which, like I said, was cheerfully refunded), otherwise I would already have forgotten about it...

Trip Type: Business Review 9 of 64dirty pool
I was hoping to use the pool during my stay, to my disappointment, the pool was not maintained properly, and I saw hairballs in the water, everywhere! I ran out of the pool right away.

Trip Type: Business Review 11 of 64Convenient location near airport, downtown, and marina
Hotel is conveniently located. It's a great location for walking or running and just a 5-10 minute drive to downtown or the airport. The hotel consists of two towers, one is significantly nicer than the other and you can't tell when you book which one you'll get. The parking at $22/day seems overpriced. Finally, the efficiency and service of the waiters at breakfast was shocking. I recommend walking to the deli located between the two towers.

Trip Type: Business Review 14 of 64ARE YOU KIDDING ME?
I'm a frequent busines traveller and a Sheraton Platinum member, this is one of the worst hotels I've ever stayed at. First...they put me in the wrong room. Second...I had internet issues and was transferred to a helpdesk in Poland where the english wasn't fluent and it was then suggested that someone from a local "geek squad-like" place come to the hotel to fix a lousy IP connection in their port. Third....no one cleaned my room. Fourth...no one took the tray from room service that sat outside my room from 3 PM to 5 AM the next day. It's disgusting and galling. If I didn't block through this site, I'd have demanded a refund.
