The hotel was awesome! The decor, the coziness, and cleanliness was great. The one issue I had they resolved very quickly.

I loved the decor, the room was spacious and comfortable. Very convenient location, as it is only a few blocks from Dupont Circle. Great room for the price! The bed was also a delight.

Trip Type: With Friends Review 4 of 43Staff elevates a very good hotel to a great experience
I booked Hotel Rouge for a 'Girls Get Away Weekend". From the moment we pulled up to the hotel till we drove away the hotel accommodations, staff and overall experience was fantastic. The staff was knowledgeable, friendly and prompt. The rooms were large, tastefully done and clean. Perfect location to walk to Georgetown, DuPont circle, the white house and other attractions. The hotel is in a little neighborhood that had a Whole foods and Starbucks so we were all very happy. I will be a return guest as will my friends.

Trip Type: With Friends Review 7 of 43Perfect for Logan Circle/Dupont Scenegoers
The location is perfect if you are going to be hitting Logan and Dupont Circle areas and all the bars and restaurants there. For a sightseeing weekend, it's within walking distance of the White House. The rooms are well apportioned and a good size, with kitchy decorating touches. Internet is free. One critique: the lobby is too small to be the hangout lounge they're trying to make it. In fact, they need to reconsider the layout of the entire first floor to make better use of the space. Tips: --Make it downstairs for the complimentary bloody marys and cold pizza at 11AM --Skip the continental breakfast and walk to Whole Foods and Starbucks to get coffee and food. --Suck it up and get the valet parking unless you know the area

Trip Type: With Friends Review 8 of 43Enjoyable stay
I was used to staying right at Dupont Circle. This hotel stood out for value. While it is a walk to the subway, it is a nice walk and the location is fine. There is a Whole Foods and restaurants close by. The hotel staff were exceptionally attentive and the room was fine. A little dated but clean and comfortable. For the price I would saty again for sure.

Trip Type: With Friends Review 11 of 43Great room for the money
I stayed at this hotel over New Years and it was clean, had a large room and was conveniently located to transportation and several nice neighborhoods. Even though it is centrally located it is tucked away on a relatively quiet street. I would definitely stay here again.

I have stayed in a Kimpton hotel one other time (In San Diego) and both hotels were amazing. Very new and trendy, yet comfortable. These hotels have great amenities, and the staff are friendly and helpful. Plus, the room was HUGE! I would recommend this to anyone.

Trip Type: With Friends Review 13 of 43Very Friendly Staff
First off, this hotel was a great deal for the money due to its location, size of the room, and ambiance. The front desk staff was among the friendliest I have encountered. They greeted you every time you entered the hotel and would offer you a complimentary glass of wine during their lobby "Happy hour" My only complaint is the price of hotel parking. $30+ per day is a little steep, but I guess to be somewhat expected in a big city.

Trip Type: With Friends Review 14 of 43Great hotel, especially for the price
I recently stayed at the Hotel Rouge - a Kimpton Hotel for my mother's birthday. I have to say -- we had an absolutely fabulous time. The boutique hotel is chic, suited all of our needs (especially Saturday and Sunday morning Bloody Mary's) and was in a fantastic location, close to Dupont Circle. I would absolutely recommend this hotel for its quality and price.
