Great Room for the Money

We paid what I considered to be a very reasonable rate for a standard room in DC. What we got was an enormous, apartment-sized suite on the top floor, with a very nice view of the city. While the suite could use updating, it was clean and very well appointed, with a comfortable king size bed, two flat screen TVs, kitchen and dining room. The staff was courteous and helpful. The location was convenient to the Metro, restaurants, sightseeing,and Georgetown. A very enjoyable weekend, and a great bargain.

Fantastic Stay

The conceiergie was warm and welcoming right from the get go. When i walked into my room it had a full blown kitchen.

Just What The Doctor Ordered

I chose this hotel because of the location, rate, and overall good reviews. My husband and I were very happy with the size of the room. The staff was friendly and helpful. I am glad we ignored some reviews and had one meal in the restaurant. It was pricey, but not outrageous and both the food and the service were very good. I would suggest making a reservation, though. The place needs some sprucing up, but we will definitely try it again.

Great Value in Washington DC

This gem of a hotel offers great comfort and style and value in the great Washington DC city scene. I would strongly recommend a repeat stay. The hotel is convenient to the metro and is located conveniently for all Washington sightseeing. We love the area and were welcomed graciously by all in the hotel staff. Maleeka was especially warm and welcoming. We will surely be back again.

Great value for the space in DC

We were only a block from the metro. I know a lot of folks complained about the remodeling, however this was pretty much over when we got there. The rate for two nights was unreal. Please don't let the exterior of the building deceive you. The inside is great...but I would have loved to get flat screens in the room for a little extra $$. Parking can be tricky. They were charging $22 at the hotel. but we found on street parking at a block away. Gotta read the signs because it changes on each side of each block. There are nearby garages that also charge about $13-$16. All in all a great stay with a comfortable bed. I lucked out on the parking so it made the total opinion of the experience exceptional.

Not great

It was a nice room and a nice location. The walls are thin so you can hear your nieghbors. For this kind of money, I did not appreciate having room service knock on the door at nine in the morning to see when we were leaving. I was told by Hotel.com that there was parking at the hotel. There was only street parking or valet parking. Durring the weekend it was easy enough to find street parking.

outstanding hotel

Great service, wonderful employees and lovely room! Room's were going through some renovations but, overall, it was one of the best experiences we've had...thank you!
