Trip Type: With Friends Review 1 of 8Needs some improvement
Three main comments: 1) There was some visible dust on the carpet, especially along the walls and under the air conditioner unit. 2) There was no ventilation in the bathroom to let the steam out--neither a fan nor a draw-vent. We wound up turning on the air conditioner just to remove moisture from the air. 3) The window did not open. (This would have helped clear the humidity.) Other than that, the bedding was comfortable and clean, and the staff were cheerful and attentive. It is located just a few blocks from one of the subway stations and along two "T" bus lines. At the same time, weather permitting (we are talking about Boston), it is a comfortable walk from the hotel to Harvard, MIT, and points inbetween.

Trip Type: With Friends Review 2 of 8Great customer service!!
The hotel exceeded my expectations in all areas. The front desk staff were extremely helpful, including locating where we were walking (and lost) and telling us how to get there. She also supplied us with extra coffee creamer when we asked and made sure we didn't need anything else. The hotel itself is very elegant looking and the room was very nice and comfortable.

Trip Type: With Friends Review 3 of 8I would stay here again.
The only downside to the hotel is the resturant in the lobby, they are not very vegetarian friendly and are on the pricey end.

Trip Type: With Friends Review 5 of 8It was comfortable
The hotel is located about 5-10 min walk through a seedy neighborhood to the T which will take you into downtown Boston. On the way back we decided to take the taxi and the ride was about $10 from Quincy Market.

Trip Type: With Friends Review 7 of 8Convenient to Subway, Nice Interior!
This hotel definitely met expectations, especially when considering the pricier hotels just as convenient to the subway. It was a short walk to the subway stop - area alright but probably wouldn't walk back and forth from the stop alone at night. The hotel interior was very nice, and the room was comfy and clean! Breakfast was great if your room includes it, although make sure you have time to sit down and eat, as it's not a take your food and run deal. Overall we were happy with our stay!

Trip Type: With Friends Review 8 of 8Clean and Friendly
We arrived an hour and a half before check in time and it didn't matter. The clerk, Maria, was very helpful, friendly and courteous. It's a great set-up.The staff is very much into customer comfort. We didn't eat at he i-house restaurant, but it appeared inviting and we were able to get extra creamers and sugar from the staff to use in our room. All in all a very ice experience.
