Perfect hotel in a perfect location. the room was large and had a unique layout. the staff was great. the continental breakfast was everything you could expect. spotlessly clwan place.

My wife and I stayed at The Independence Square Logde while in Aspen for a wedding. Everything was very nice and clean and the hot tub on the roof had great views of the entire city. If there was a negative to staying here it was parking. There is no garage and you are not allowed to park on the city streets around the hotel. We had to park 4 blocks away carry our bags from the car to the hotel, which wasn't too bad but if you aren't able to carry your bags that far it could be a problem. Overall I would give this place a 3.5 stars out of 5.

Great location, but parking is on the street about 3+blocks. The beds were softer than we like. Very nice clean room of older converted building

The hotel is very nice. Is in a building that is probably 100 yrs old however is remodeled very modern with 1st class furnishings, wide screen tv, good bed. Room is smallish, but is right on the square making it very convenient. Only drawback (due to it's location) is there is no designated unloading zone, nor parking. Was given a permit for self parking outside the business area. Fortunately was able to find a curb spot only a couple of blocks from hotel.
