Hotel is ok for the money however

Please note that there is no parking at the hotel and no parking close by so you will have to pay $twenty five per night to the valet company stationed in hotel lobby to park your car, which increases the price enough to put it in the category of a pricier hotel, which it is not. Location is great but hotel condition is extremely run down.

Always remember, you get what you pay for.

I've stayed at this hotel before but it was only one night and it was fine. It was clean and a good place to lay my head. This time I stayed for 3 nights and it really sucked this time. First our keys kept de magnitizing. Most of us had to request bath towels and wash clothes. I think they are getting over by insisting that you have to pay for a lock box weather you want it or not $2.50 per night. The shuttle service they provided was very good and reasonable. The pool area was very nice. Continental breakfast was a joke they shouldn't have it at all. The front desk staff and breakfast server sucked they need people training. Uhm thats all for now.

Great for the money

The hotel staff was so flexible, attentive and accomodated us in every way. It's an older hotel but still in very good shape. My son and I were very happy with our stay and would stay there again!

staff rude unhelpfull often unavailable

after a long wait someone finally came at the front desk. I gave him my ID and went to collect my luggage, I came back after 2 minutes and I found my ID on the desk and the front desk staff wasn't there anymore. Anyone could have taken my ID. Complimentary breakfast first day, really better go outside and pay. Complimentary airport transportation unavailable. For any need you can be sure the hotel staff will not help you (if you can find them). Swiming-pool with floating papers very dirty (I spent 2 days, and they were not windy days)

Great room for the money.

Awesome Miami location at a discount. It's nothing fancy, but it met the needs of my quick stay in Miami. I didn't even spend any time in the hotel so it was perfect!

by far the worst hotel i have ever stayed at. The staff was rude.. there compl. breakfast consists of corn muffins and coffee and I got yelled at by the staff for taking a muffin up to my room! I wouldnt stay here!

No Pride In Ownership

The wall paper throughout the room was pealing & outdated. Our room did have a cool view of the downtown lite B/A large building. However, we were directly over the bar & music was pumping until 1:00 AM. Not worth the $$ we spent.

needs improvement

For the area the price is great, but the hotel seemed run down inside and out. The sign on the top of the building had been ripped down and not replaced which made it very difficult to find. Additionally its located on a hidden away one way street which made it nearly impossible for even our cab driver to locate. My recommendation is to spend a little bit more money to stay in one of the other nearby hotels.

I will give the room 4 stars. BUT; I will never stay there again because we were NOT informed that an additional $21.00 A NIGHT TO PARK YOUR CAR. That was TOTALLY unexpected and very much unappreciated. A hotel must have parking or at least let you know ahead of time if not.

Great location, great value.

For the money, this was a great value! Right in the center of downtown, easy to walk to shops, restaurants, and mass transit. Room was small, but about what I expected. At first glance it seemed to be a nice place. However, it was a little dirty, and shabby in places. And don't bother with the hotel restaurant, it was horrible.

Needs Improvement

The room was ok. The bathroom had some mold. I booked a suite, and the sofa turned into a bed so common sense will tell you that you needed extra sheets and blankets. When I called they said that they did not have any sheets and or blankets. The hotel was located behind another hotel so it was very easy to get lost. When I asked for more towels they did bring two towels within 20 miinutes. The pool was not well lighted and not well maintained. The parking was another issue, for a fee there was valet parking but half the time had to wait for a while because only one person would be working.
