Good for a Family

The Hotel was really good. They put me into a just renewed block and was amazing. I was with another couple so they gave me a room with two bedroom and 2 bathroom. The experience was better than expected before reaching the hotel. 3 LCD TVs, Refrigerator, Dining room... I recommend

Hit or Miss

This could have been an awful experience but it turned out to be very pleasant. The first room that I was given was small and noisy. The laundry room was right next to mine. I didn't check in until almost 10 pm and I was very tired. The last thing I wanted to hear was a washer and dryer going all night. The room was not at all what I expected. There was a tiny -19 inch television in the living room and everything was cramped. On top of that, the air conditioning didn't work. After complaining for 15 minutes and them telling me that they didn't have anymore rooms available I told them that I was checking out and needed a refund and that I was going to tell everyone I knew about how horrible the room was. They immediately found me another room three doors down. I didn't even have to move my car. That room was amazing. It was large and seemed to be worth the money. I only wonder why I was given the poor unit initially. I got settled in and fell asleep. The next morning I was burning up. Why? Because the air in this unit didn't work either. I called maintenance and they came almost two hours later; but they fixed the air. The rest of the trip was fine. It really is a beautiful resort with every amenity you can think of. It is worth the money, I would recommend it to friends and I will return. However, the beginning of the trip could have ruined the entire trip. Oh, did I mention that after you check in but before you can go to your room, you have to stand there for 15 minutes listening to a sales pitch? I kept telling the man behind the counter that I just wanted to go to my room and lay down. He said that he would make it as short as possible - no, just stop talking and let me go. It was 10 pm and after driving for three hours I was not in the mood.

WOW!

I STAYED IN ROOM 1408 AND WAS AMAZED. THE HOTEL HAS BEEN REMODELED AND THE 2-BEDROOM VILLA WE STAYED IN WAS VERY LARGE AND DECORATED BEAUTIFULLY WITH GRANITE COUNTERTOPS AND DARK WOODS. I THOROUGHLY ENJOYED THE JACUZZI IN THE MASTER BEDROOM.AND THE FLORIDA RESIDENT SPECIAL WE GOT WAS AMAZING. WE WERE LOOKING AT MANY OTHER HOTELS AND THERE WAS NO WAY THAT I COULD GET ONE ROOM AT A COMPARABLE HOTEL FOR TH PRICE I GOT, MUCH LESS A 2-BEDROOM. OUR ONLY COMPLAINT WAS THE ON-SITE FAST FOOD SERVICE THEY HAVE THAT DELIVERS TO THE ROOM. IT TOOK OVER ONE HOUR AND THE FOOD WAS COLD AND SOGGY. IT WAS HORRIBLE AND THE PRICES WERE RIDICULOUS.

Needs renovation!

We stayed at the resort not the villas and the room was old, and had no elevators. In need of renovation. The rugs were dirty and with stains. On the check-out day, exactly at 10:00 am. the maids were knocking at the door telling us that we had to be out,because they were there ready to clean. Although check-in time is 4;00PM.

Some Issues

Starting off we booked a 2 bedroom villa for 5 adults and then checked us in. We proceeded to the room up on the 4th floor (no elevator in that wing of the resort) with all our luggage to find out it was a 1 bedroom. We had to drive back to the welcome center and wait in line again (a bit shorter line this time). We proceeded to explain the discrepancy and 45 minutes later they resolved the issue admitting it was an error on their part. We proceeded to our new 2 bedroom villa and it was nice, but a bit warm. We turned down the a/c to make it cooler and left for the day. When we came back it was late, and we noticed it was still warm so we called to have it checked out. About 30 min. later a technician came and said the a/c needed freon, but he had to go back and get it. As a result, we had the issue resolved after 3 hrs (now 2 am). The following morning we needed to check-out, but being we had the a/c issue the night before I asked if we could check-out a little later (check-out is 10 am, we asked for 11:30 am) and they said NO, regardless of the issue the previous night. We made the manager aware of the issue and they apologized and gave us a $50 credit to use at the resort and allowed us to use the ammenities for the day.

Geat Resort

The two bedroom villa was really nice and comfortable.Pools- excellant fan. I will certainly use it again.

Great hotel

The one bedroom villa was really nice. The kitchen came in handy, and the jacuzzi and patio were nice touches. However, when you check in they will tell you to go to a breakfast about a rewards program and they will give you cash. They will do anything they can to sell you a timeshare at the breakfast. Other than that it was a great place to stay.

Wonderful Hotel

The location, facilities and the spacious villas makes for a great location and place. Most of your time is spent away from the hotel but when you come back you want to have a nice spacious facility/sleeping quarters. It is close to everything from the main roadways, to all the major parks from Disney, Universal, Sea World, Dining areas - Apopka Vineland, Restaurant Row on Sandlake. It was great. Thank you for the experience.

Nice Place

Good Location for a family to visit Disney World. Felt obligated to listen to time share sales but was unconfortable about it.
