great hotel

We loved the hotel. It is located near I-4, and close to downtown. Check in was easy. The room is what we expected it to be. We stayed in the 1 bedroom "cascade" area. The room has a bedroom area and a living room area. It has 2 tv's, a full kitchen and frig (even plates, pots and pans, and a dishwasher). The pool is across the street. The general store is close by too. Staff was very friendly and helpful. We intend to stay there again in the summer. The only thing negative that I found was that we tried to get a one bedroom with the jacuzzi, and the staff couldn't do it. Our reservation was for the standard 1 bedroom...and they said they couldn't change it unless we cancelled the entire original reservation.

Highly Recommend

It was great except for the fact that they try to talk everyone into a time share. The initial check in was disappointing because they tell you that you are "waiting for a welcome packet" when it is really a chance for them to talk you into a session on time share. They should really be up front about that when you check in and not waste people's time if they are not interested.

It was nice for a family

The food was horrible and there wasn't a lot of choices on what to eat and where. It was hard to figure things out on the resort.. For example, making an appointment for something was in a completely different location than where you went for the acvtual appoinment. The gave you a small bag of coffee on your first day in your room, but after that, they never refilled it.....Funny because in a normal hotel, you pay the price fpor each day, towels, coffee, etc.. should be included too... Nice pools, fun for kids! Not much for adults.. Needs better dining and something for a night life!

Had a wonderful time but didn't go to breakfast because there are better ways to buy. Very spacious and has everything needed. The grounds are beautiful and the 7 pools are very clean. Also has a very nice fitness center with up to date equipment, sauna and steam room. Will go back again and we origally only booked for 1 week but extended to 3 weeks.

Nice resort

While we stayed in the older section, room was clean and staff was very courteous. We encountered one non-serious problem which the manager promptly took care of, 100% to our satisfaction. Will stay again.

If you're looking for quality this isn't it

If you are wanting to save a buck and quality doesn't matter to you, then this would be the place to stay. But if your looking for at least moderate accomodations and a friendly and knowledgable staff - this isn't right for you. The toilet wouldn't flush all the way, the door was very hard to open, the furniture has definetly seen better days, and the decor was not so cute. I could go on and on, but to put it simply: I've stayed at better and won't be returning to this resort.
