Great getaway for the money

The Patricia Grand met our expectations, the ocean view was wonderful. The room was a bit small but for us it was perfect. Definitely will consider staying here again.

Needs Improvement

Patricia Grand Resort Hotel in Myrtle Beach, SC. is in desparate need of improvement. I experienced the following problems while staying at the Hotel: room smelled of mildew, stains on bed comforter, stained carpet and furniture in guest room, torn window curtains. Room Attendants did not identify themselves when entering to clean room. Bed linen was not changed nor was floor cleaned by Room Attendants.

only complaint was the shower pressure was weak and the hot water control was sensitive. overall great value...

Very nice Great Location

Very nice hotel. Bed could have been a little softer just my opinion. wouldnt have called the room OCEAN FRONT more of a side view of the ocean not ocean front. overall the hotel was excellent

Great Hotel

I really liked the location on Ocean Bld. Everything from restraunts to business were in walking distances. The only thing I didn't care for is talking to someone about condos before we got to go to room. I felt bombarded, but they were polite and not rude when I turned them down. Over all, my experience there was exceptional and would reccommend this hotel to family and friends. The ocean front was gorgeous.

Great Time

Had a great stay at the Patricia Grand and would definely stay there again. Room was more than I expected for the price. Great view from the oceanfront king suite. It seems as though all of the rooms have a good view with the way the hotel is layed out. Room was clean everything in working order. Enjoyed the pools and beach. Free wireless worked well in our 9th floor room. Lots to do in the surrounding areas if you have a car. Staff was friendly with the exception of the bartender but maybe she was having a bad day. Would reccomend this hotel for anyone looking for a value vacation in Myrtle Beach.

Needs Improvement

I was in the room from Thursday until Sunday and did not get my room cleaned until Saturday afternoon, and this was only after me calling the front desk 8 times. A person from another department came in to clean the room because all the maids had gone for the day. There was no shower curtain in the room, this was a bad experience.

Low Rate and Wonderful Location

Patricia Grand is an older hotel. It is not a 5 star, mint on pillow, overpriced, granite countertop hotel. The hotel is an older, lived in hotel with the 'old Myrtle Beach' vibe. There are various rooms, but we had a room with kitchenette and oceanfront balcony. We walked in the large area starting with the kitchen. Next to the kitchen is the living area with surrounding windows and balcony. To the right of the living area was the large closet, bathroom and bedroom. The bedroom had extremely comfortable beds with oceanfront windows and balcony door. The hotel itself does need to work on parking...you park across the street in their garage. Valet parking is only $8 and the attendants are fast and careful. The pool/lazy river/jacuzzi/game areas are kid friendly, large and very beachy. All in all this hotel is wonderful. It has the beachy atmosphere that you long for when you are at the beach. There is something magical staying at an older hotel in Myrtle Beach...skip the new and overpriced hotels and stay here.

Although in the process of a renovation, still a great place to stay. Location is close to all the attractions you will enjoy, beachfront.

The hotel was a great price ... It was a little older but would stay there again.

Outstanding Hotel

Had a wonderful stay. Pools were great, elevators weren't bad, rooms were comfortable. Nice place to vacation.

Nice place to stay

We had a wonderful time! We had room service, the Prime rib was great and very well priced! Room service was quick and efficient. We had the buffet breakfast in the restaurant and we were very satisfied! The maid service could have been a little better, finding someone elses "hair" in the bathroom wasn't a pretty site, but, all in all we had a good experience! I thought all rooms automatically came with a microwave, next time we will get the efficiency room. We really enjoyed the pool, it was great!
