NEEDS IMPROVEMENT

WHEN MY HUSBAND AND I ARRIVED AT THE HOTEL, WE VERY IMPRESSED WITH THE LOBBY ATMOSPHERE-THEY HAD 2 NICE RESTAURANT/LOUNGES AND THEY WERE REMODELED-VERY NICE! WHEN WE GOT TO THE ROOM WE REALIZED THAT WE DIDN'T HAVE A REFRIDGERATOR/MICROWAVE LIKE ONLINE SAID WE CALLED FRONT DESK TO TELL THEM AND THEY SAID THERE WOULD BE A 10.00 CHARGE PER NIGHT TO HAVE A ROOM WITH THOSE ACCOMODATIONS-WE WENT AHEAD AND PAID AND MOVED TO OUR ROOM. THAT NIGHT, IT WAS SOOO HOT THAT WE PUT THE ROOM ON 60 DEGREES-IT APPEARS THAT THE AIR CONDITIONER WASN'T DOING THAT GREAT OF A JOB-WE HAD SWEAT THE WHOLE NIGHT. WE WENT TO THE POOL IN THE A.M (WHICH WAS NICE) AND TO THE FITNESS ROOM (WHICH ONLY HAD 3 PEICES OF EQUIPTMENT) AND WHEN WE CAME BACK TO THE ROOM-IT WAS STILL HOT ON 60 SO WE COMPLAINED AND GOT TOLD THAT THEY COULDN'T MOVE US UNTIL MAINTENANCE CHECKED OUT THE TOILET (THAT WASN'T FLUSHING PROPERLY) AND THE AIR BECAUSE THE MANAGER COULDN'T RESELL THE ROOM AFTER HOUSEKEEPING LEAVES..WELL, MAINTENANCE CAME UP AND TOLD US THAT EVERYTHING IS WORKING IT'S JUST AN OLDER HOTEL AND SO THEY NEVER EVEN TRIED TO ACCOMODATE US BEING UNHAPPY AND HOT WITH A TOILET THAT BARELY FLUSHED. THEY WERE MORE CONCERNED ABOUT BRINGING IN MORE BUSINESS BY "NOT BEING ABLE TO RESELL OUR ROOM" INSTEAD OF PLEASING THIER GUESTS THAT HAD ALREADY PAID AND PERHAPS CHANCING US RETURNING BECAUSE THEY WENT THE EXTRA MILE TO SHOW US THEY CARE-SO WE STAYED ANOTHER NIGHT IN THE HOT ROOM AND THEY DIDN'T PAY ANY CONCERN TO OUR DIS-SATISFACTION. WE'LL NEVER RETURN.

Needs Improvement

-There were alot of kids running around and we could hear them all night. -The hotel was very old and the outside would fool you because the inside is nothing great. -Pay the extra money and stay at another hotel where there is better service and a better quality of the room -The water wouldn't drain in the bathtub and I had to wait an hour after my husband got out to take my shower. -The front desk staff seemed as if she had attitude an didn't want to help us. -The great quality is that the check-out time is at 12pm. So you can sleep in a little. ** I wouldn't recommend this hotel it needs some maintaince and renovations done to it then it would be great.

EXCELLENT LOCATION

GREAT FOR THE PRICE AND DURING THE HOLIDAY. EXCELLENT LOCATION, CLOSE TO AIRPORT, HWY'S, MALL, AND GREAT PLACES TO EAT. NOT TO MENTION THE NIGHT ACTION ON THE HOTEL GROUNDS.

needs improvement

they wasn't friendly, and promise to have a continental breakfast, and we have to argue to got , this is not good.

We do not wish to share information.

An additional charge to the Guests for items that may be broken etc.In the room is an unfar charge. THIS charge has to be placed on a credit card account.It is not fare to Guests who do not use Credit Cards except for emergenies. The Guest should be able to pay for this charge by cash or by a personal check and the Hotel should have the flexibiity to work with the Guests.

Poor customer service

The hotel wasn't what I expected. The only renovations were to the lobby, pool area and court yard. Staff needs more training in customer service. Rude to one another giving upper management dirty looks. This is totally unacceptable. I reserved a King room with microwave, refrigerator, internet, cable w/ HBO, etc. When I checked the room wasn't available. So they gave me the next available room. I opened the door to the room and its two doubles. WOW!! How do you go from a King to 2 doubles???? My boyfriend is 6'4'' 2 doubles are not going to work. I called down to the front desk and they said no problem they will change my room. But after I get to the desk they say o sorry that's the only thing available!!! WHAT??? So, I asked for the manager and she printed out 3 pages of rooms that were cleaned and vacant...she did recheck for a King but none was available which was fine and she gave me a queen. Great finally some progress! Unfortunately, the room didn't have any of the amenities that I had reserved. No cable, internet, microwave, refrigerator nothing! As far as the restaurant on location....service sucked!!! The food was priced too high for the quality that it was. The hostess and the waitress that were on duty were too busy to help customers because they were fixing their hair and putting on make-up!!! Overall all the only excellent customer service was the lady working the gift shop!!

MUCH BETTER THAN REVIEWS SAY!!

I booked this hotel despite reviews and I am glad I did. The free breakfast was AMAZING and real food not bagels :o) The night guy at the front desk was very helpful and always alert. As long as you request to be in the new rooms (which I did) I believe everything is fine. I did not even notice and remodels. FABULOUS!!!

Big needs improvement

We felt like we were sent to the worst room in the hotel. I thought we paid a fair price for it. There were cobwebs everywhere and it was in the back away from everything. Very poor. The lady that checked us in the night before was very pleasant and that is all that I can say that is good.
